For a good portion of the season McDaniel has been asked by reporters if and when Byron Jones is coming back. It appears that won't happen, but what if Jones did come back?

A few years ago, the Dolphins defense really took off when Jones came back from an injury. This decimated secondary is overmatched every week. The return of Jones could be huge.

What if the Jets had drafted Justin Fields instead of Zach Wilson? New York has overachieved to the tune of 7-8 despite below average play from its quarterbacks.

What if the Patriots had traded up for Fields instead of drafting Mac Jones? Or, what if New England had drafted Lamar Jackson a few years prior? For a team that runs the ball well and usually has a top 10 defense, the quarterback play should be much better.

What if Buffalo had passed on a raw quarterback named Josh Allen?

What if Bruce Beal never got involved in our franchise and cost us a 1st and 3rd round pick?

What if we hadn’t re-signed Ogbah, signed Bridgewater, Wilson, Edmonds and tagged Gesicki and we were sitting 45 million under next years cap?

What if Jevon Holland was as good as last year?

What if Matt Milano wasn’t dirty?

What if Tua had been his normal self against SF?

What if Jerome Baker had instincts?

What if we had drafted Creed Humphrey instead of Liam Eichenberg and Williams was at LG?

What if the refs had been consistent last Sunday?

Byron Jones <——— stopped thinking about that guy.

What if, Miami kept Brian Flores? Would Miami's defense be as bad as its been this year?

What if, Mike McDaniel would have incorporated the short passing game into the offense he's implemented so far? Would the offense be more potent?

What if, the NFL didn't punish Ross and dock Miami two draft picks? What would Miami be looking to do in the 1st round?

What if it was December 23rd and all through the house not a creature was stirring.................

oh wait, that is not a good story and off a day or so

What if, I hadn't opened a post called what if and what if I didn't then what would happen if I didn't

Bro you just opened a can of worms.

What if Byron Jones wasn't such a low down Yankee liar?

Regarding Holland, I think it's more about his responsibilities changing since Brandon Jones got hurt.

Unfortunately, the Jets with even an average quarterback could be a playoff team. I could see Jimmy Garappalo there next year.
