The Whole Fist Pump thing

Do you guys think that Tony has been informed or is aware that he is made fun of and mocked for doing that stupid fist pump all the time over field goals?
 
To be honest, I don't think he cares, nor do I. If he fist pumps to show his excitement, I couldn't care less. At least he isn't Dick Jauron (I swear if that gets bleeped), and is just an emotionless zombie.
 
3 points is 3 points he is letting his kicker know he is part of the team too.
 
all joking aside i think tony got the memo on the fist-pump
he will only use it if the field goal wins a game or a touchdown..
 
I could not care less and love his emotion and hope his players feed off of it. Only Dolphin fans would have an issue with an emotional coach..........:rolleyes2:
 
Anyone who really has a problem with a dude fist pumping to show emotion needs to GTF over it.
 
People just made fun of him for it because we were getting only FGs and losing. If we were winning, people could care less.
 
Is the line "they had to settle for a field goal" or "YEE HAW, IN YOUR FACE SUCKERS!! WE MARCHED IT DOWN YOUR THROAT AND MADE A FIELD GOAL!!!! Whoohoo!!"

Have a little class, your offense is sitting there on the bench demoralized because they just failed and your celebrating like you just won the superbowl

But what took the cake for me was during the Lions game when we ran the draw on 3rd and 10 or whatever on Detroits 30 just to set us up for yet another FG. The announcer said "looks like they're just happpy getting 3". The fans were booing up a storm and the goofball had the gall to fist pump in the face of all those booing fans.

That was the first time in my life I've ever rooted against my own team to lose and it still sickens me. We all know the rest of the story as they marched down the field and scored a TD for the win. FU Moran-o, you clown.
 
To put it another way unless its for the win a FG is like a push in blackjack. Both sides are kind of meh about the result and only a moron would celebrate. Think about how you feel when the other team has to settle for a FG, you're kind of happy the defense stopped them right?

The problem is on more then one occasion his emotions have led him to making bad decisions.
 
Michael Jordan did the fist pump. But he was winning championships. You just don't fist pump over field goals when they are not winning field goals. Or at least field goals that get you back in the game.

Calling the head coach of the Dolphins a moron and goofball shows your agenda goes well beyond whether or not he fist pumps his excitement for field goals.
 
Would you rather he be Clapping his hands and Slapping guys rear ends after horrible plays like the WANSTASH used to do all the time.
