I think this could be "the worst" scenario for Miami:

1.- Oakland.- Jamarcus Russell
2.- Lions.- Joe Thomas / Calvin Johnson
3.- Browns.- Brady Quinn
4.- Bucs.- Calvin Johnson / Joe Thomas
5.- Arizona.- Levi Brown
6.- Redskins.- Gaines Adams
7.- Vikings.- Landry / Peterson
8.- Falcons .- Landry / Peterson
9.- MIAMI DOLPHINS

I think this is the best scenario because all Blue chips and all our needs r gone.....

In this scenario i see Dolphins taking Okoye, Carricker or best WR on Phins Board (Ginn Jr, Bowe?).

I really hope Raiders take Calvin Johnson, because is better for us, if A. Peterson drops maybe we could have a trade down option.

It's Carriker or taking Joe Staley a little higher. Neither one are too too bad.

I've thought about this scenario as well. I actually think it might be possible to trade down if things played out this way. There are a few teams near the middle of the round that will be watching the top two DTs fall. It could be possible to convince somebody like St. Louis that getting the pick of the litter (Okoye) is worth their 3rd round pick.

I'd look to trade down. If they stayed at 9 I would draft Leon Hall. I don't think d-line is the way to go. The 3 young guys they have (Wright, Wright, and Evans) should be given a chance to play. Hall would fill a huge need in the secondary and will be a playmaker for years to come.

if quinn or landry is off the board. i wouldn't mind miami drafting PATRICK WILLIS. In his pro-day this guy ran a 4.38 forty time faster than some wide receivers in the draft class very impressive and with Zack getting a little older it would be a great replacement.

With this scenario we either draft Staley with the 9th pick or trade down and draft him. Gotta have that stud LT.

What about Dwayne Jarrett? Is he projected as a mid round pick now? I dont think he would be a bad choice either.

If this situation presents itself, then it's Willis.

He would be a huge reach at #9 IMO. He is not a mid 1st guy most places I've seen. Alot of places have him in the 2nd round. Character concerns and a 4.6+ 40 time don't help.

I forget Staley, maybe if this sceneario happen, Miami could REACH a little for Staley or second WR on their board......but i have the gut feeling Miami is seeing CARRICKER for this scenario.
