So far Steve Mareucci, Mike Tice, Dom Capers, Mike Sherman, Jim Halett, Mike Martz, have all been fired.

Dick Vermil retired and we have no idea if ole Parcells will retire....


What an Offseason we are set for....
 
Lots of coachless NFL teams so far. And there are more to come I think. Parcells is more than likely retiring. Could be other firings. Lots of vacancies this year. This will also mean alot of assistants changing addresses as well.

i really doubt Parcells is retiring. all signs are pointing to him staying.

He won coach of the year in 2000.

Besides, many around N.O. thought he'd be granted one more year of clemency because of the hurricanes and all that mess.
 
Texans, Saints, Packers, Lions, Raiders, Rams, Vikings, Cheifs, and Cowboys (If Parcells retires) can do whatever the hell they want. Just stay away for Linehan and our personnel.
 
Haslett has wanted out for awile now. The guy literally asked to be fired. He will be back with another team next season as a HC.
 
I think Mariucci will go to Green Bay and fishypetes old friend Jim Bates could end up in Oakland.

Detroit is interested in the Bears DC.

He did have more to deal with this year than alot of coaches would ever have to deal with. I just dont see any improvement anywhere even if he was coty in 2000, but he did get dealt a bad hand this year. A coach is a teams identity, if we all cant tell already from Saban, all the players talk like him now and use his wording
 
This should be good news for us with the free agents.
With how we finished the season compared to all these teams that will have new programs who will also be competing to draw the best FAs - where do you think FAs would choose?
