Walter Clement Pipp (February 17, 1893January 11, 1965) was an American first baseman in Major League Baseball, now best remembered as the man who lost his starting role to Lou Gehrig at the beginning of Gehrig's streak of 2,130 consecutive games.
look at the list of Pipps this year:

Penny to Henne

Will Allen to Vontae Davis

Peezy to Wake/Anderson

Fasano to Sperry

I don't want Ronnie to get Pipped but I would like to see WR step up a Pipp Ginn

hope Gibril gets Pipped too

If I'm not mistaken Turner was active, I saw #84 Turner on special teams, but that's about it.

And I don't want to call Sperry the real deal after one good game. Fasano was great last year and I'd like to see if he can turn this season around.

Fasano won't be Pipped by Sperry becuz he caught 3 balls and a TD.

Gibril --> Clemson's Chris Clemons

a fella can dream can't he?:d-day:

in the strictest sense a player has to be hurt to be Pipped

Gibril may just suck his way to the bench
