There Are Chances That Brady Quinn Falls To The 9th...

Former Heisman Winner Matt Leinart fell to 9th last year, two years ago Aaron Rodgers fell down to under the 20's, In 1983 Dan fell down to 22nd, most of the years there are QB's that are drafted after projected so Quinn may fall to the 9th it depends in the draft boards of the teams above us...,

Eventhough I think that Cam and Randy are gonna pull the trigger and do whatever he can do to get Quinn, for example they are gonna wait til' they think that Quinn will be picked, for example at 6th and they are going to trade up, I don't know why, but like 20 minutes before each team picks they know who is gonna be, so they are going to wait til' the last moment to trade up (to give less round picks) or wait for him to fall to the 9th.

If he falls to six, I think they'll try to move up to get him. If they're unable to move up, I still think there's a chance he falls to us. If we don't get him, I'm certain we'll still get a very good player and have a good draft...

I think if Quinn gets past the first four teams, then we have a shot at trading up for him. BUT, I think we cannot give away the store for one player, no matter who he is. :rolleyes2 I think a trade with the Redskins (our 9th and maybe a 3rd rounder, for the Redskins first pick) is workable.

It just isn't going to happen. It's Trent Green,Cleo Lemon,Gibran Hamdan, and a draft pick. A realistic draft pick.

I think Miami will move up to 6 to get him but I don't know if they need to. Say Quinn slides to 6 and Washington is on the clock. The only player they can take which would be terrible for Miami would be Laron Landry. If they take an end like Carricker, Landry will be drafted by Minnesota, in my opinion. Then Atlanta will not take Quinn at 8 so he will be there at 9. It is a risk because Minnesota could opt to go for the QB since Childress is an offensive guy. I wouldn't risk it and move up to 6 to get him.

I tell u tho, If Landry is gone and ATL can't trade up for CJ, they are a good target to trade down w/ a QB needing team . . . thats why its tuff to sit at 9 and try to nab him, but like I have said I seriously doubt him getting past Cleveland.

Let Quinn fall to you at 9. If it dont happen, just get Kolb in the second.

I aggree. Unless someone has some inside info, there's no way of knowing which way Minnesota is leaning toward. It's too risky to just sit there at #9 and hope Minnesota doesn't take him. We probably should give up a 3rd round pick and move up if we can. If Quinn becomes a franchise QB for us, then it was worh it. I'm willing to take a chance.

Marino was picked at 27.

If the draft goes like this, which I can see happening, we wouldn't have to trade up.

Oakland: Calvin Johnson
Detroit: Gaines Adams
Cleveland: Adrian Peterson
Tampa Bay: Amobi Okoye
Arizona: Joe Thomas
Washington: Adam Carriker
Minnesota: Jamarcus Russell
Atlanta: Laron Landry
Miami: Brady Quinn

That would be fine by me!

Just can't imagine the top 2 QB's . . . both with tons of potential sliding past the top 3, and past the top 5 w/o some trades happening . . Just don't see it . . . I also think Minny would take Quinn over Russell . . . just a hunch.
