Pretty funny stuff. The Lions are forever branded as the NFL laughingstock. Thank heavens for a boneheaded Billick, but all the more reason to detest Camrand for what easily could have been indelibly etched in our history. Oh, and to emphasize how pervasive a joke the Lions have become, I received this from a woman who does NOT follow football.

the football under their jerseys.

** RULES THE SAME FROM LAST YEAR **
1 - A touchdown (this is when the ball is carried over the
goal line. For all you Lions fans that have never seen this) it
is still worth 6 points.
2 - The Lions will be allowed 20 men on the field at all times.
3 - The Lions will be allowed to substitute with band members at
anytime.
4 - The Lions will be awarded 10 timeouts as opposed to 3
for the opposing team.
5 - The Lions will be awarded a first down with each gain of three
yards or more, instead of the usual ten yards.

** NAME CHANGE **
The Detroit Lions will be changed to the "Detroit Tampons" as they are only
good for one period and have no second string.

ahhhh Vaark..you strike again...:sidelol:...good post..

After finishing 1-15 a year ago and feeling we would go winless the entire season my heart goes out to the Lion fans. I was rooting for 'em to get a win, sadly, it didnt happen. But hey they can be sure of a "better" season next year and I hope they get a decent season. Yeah this is funny, and it did bring a smile to my face, but this stuff could have been about us a year ago and we woulda gone crazy.

Poor Lions fans. I just love how our Fins have turned things around so quickly. :)

...But can I also add, I love this kinda stuff about the Bills, Pats and Jets lol!! :)

God save the Queen. I agree with you.

They got a chance against Taft Junior High School. I was reading that Taft sends students to aid disadvantaged countries in the late summer/early fall. This year half their football team won't return from building mud huts in the South Pacific until September 20.
