THERE MUST BE A SOLUTION FOR THIS MESS

Looks like you caught feelings and thought I was going after Achane when I really wasn’t. Telling me to watch the games and calling my take ****, while calling Achane a more physical runner than Wright is laughable. I’m merely focusing on the simple fact that we need a more physical lead back. Achane has a role regardless and he’s great at it.

How much of Jaylen Wright did you watch before he got drafted by the Dolphins? Genuinely curious with such a “****” take.

It doesn’t matter how much you watch a player in college. Michael Carter should have done what Bucky Irving did going off the film. But he didn’t. I’m not saying Wright is going to be Michael Carter. But he isn’t Tyrone Tracey good. He needs more work to improve his vision or he needs giant lanes to run the ball. And he doesn’t run over anyone. He drops pretty quick. I do think Achane is getting tougher yards that Wright would leave on the field. If that means Achane is more physical than so be it. It’s the truth.

If you don’t like it then keep on telling everyone your opinion. You have yours which is based on your feelings and emotional attachment to Tennessee football. And I have mine which is based on what I’ve seen in a Dolphins uniform. And calling Achane a scat back is a $hi? take. It’s not personal. Anyone who says that doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

Dude, you sure know how to make assumptions based on absolutely nothing. What emotional attachment do I have to Tennessee football? Where did I ever indicate that I was a fan? Lmao. Talk about a **** take.

Do you know what a scat back is? Have you ever played football? Let me help you out…..

A scatback is a running back in American football who is known for being fast, agile, and elusive with the ball. Scatbacks are often smaller in stature and have a low center of gravity, which allows them to dodge tacklers. They are more versatile than traditional tailbacks, who run straight downhill. Scatbacks are often used in plays that target the outside boundaries or the edge along the sidelines.

How does that NOT describe Achane as a RB? Do YOU watch the games? What do you think he is, a power back? 😭

Looks like you got in your feelings thinking someone was talking negative about your man crush, when that wasn’t even the case to begin with. Get a grip. If you’re looking for an argument, at least find one that makes sense.

#1 Never blame the owner unless he is GM too
#2 Never blow up the entire team, this is what angry fans do, then they hide for 3 years
#3 Draft for the Trenches, not some big name toy
#4 Replace the GM with a guy who understands the process, not a quick fix
#5 Draft team players that have a history of hard work and toughness

There are two ways to go. Blow it up and start over, or hope McDaniel can take that next step as a coach.

I'm not sure which is the right answer. After a game like Green Bay, blow it up seems reasonable. But part of Miami's problem over the last 30+ years is not having any stability, always starting over with new coaches, new philosophies etc.

McDaniel has some traits to work with. Are they enough? He comes from a system that has seen a lot of success, a coaching tree that includes Kyle Shanahan (two super bowl appearances), Sean McVay (one super bowl win, two appearances), Matt LaFleur (68-34 record), DeMeco Ryans etc.

For all the complaints about McDaniel, he has a winning record as a coach with two playoff appearances in two seasons. He has an offense that has, at times, looked great without a great offensive line. We know the problems, the lack of physicality. Are these things fixable?

Would you call Chris Johnson, Thurman Thomas, Marshal Faulk, or Gibbs a scatback? I wouldn't, and I wouldn't call Achane a scatback either. He is very good at finding yards that aren't there when rushing up the middle. He's an all purpose back who happens to be fast. He's never averaged less than 4.2 yards per carry in games where he rushed 15 times or more.

The Tennessee comment was based on you focusing on Wright's college tape as a reason to say he should be getting more carries. I see him as more of a liability when he's given the ball than Achane. I don't have any emotions about it other than wanting to win football games.

Was Barry Sanders a "scat back"?

Now I don't think Achane is Barry. My point is you are making a generalization that I don't see with Achane.

Every running back listed above played at 200 pounds or bigger. Achane is 190 if we are being generous. I wouldn’t compare his running style to any of those guys either. All of those guys are more physical runners, IMO.

I mean, there’s really nothing to argue….. he’s the very definition of a “scat back” and that’s not a shot at him. He’s one of the best in football.

Even PFF listed him in that category pre-draft. Have seen Simon Clancy and Kyle Crabbs refer to him as such, too. According to @DOLFAN_51 that makes their opinion “****”

Zach Thomas and those early 2000s defense were regular choke artist come December. It is what it is we've been soft for decades. If I was making millions to play a game I'd be laughing all the way to the bank.

1. The team needs to start hitting on a much higher percentage of its draft picks. Right now, the percentage of hits is much too low and the needed depth in this league is just not there. It forces the team to overly rely on free agent signings and that's just not how you build a team in this league.

2. Too one-dimensional regarding personnel offensively speaking. Everything is about speed and finesse. The WR room is full of mighty mites who can run fast, but sometimes you need guys who can highpoint the ball and are physical enough to win those 50/50 balls. The RB room is much the same. Smaller guys who are fast as lightning. It's great when they break off a big one, but you need a bruiser back there at times to soften up the defense, and most importantly, convert the 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1. Ingold is a solid FB, but he's not a guy you hand the ball to at least 10 or 15 times a game.

3rd and 2 on the goal line season on the line you have to punch these in

4th -and 1 on the goal line or to extend a drive in the final minutes is a run up the gut
