OJ Atogwe could improve our secondary and give us that veteran we need back there to help the young guys out.
Deandre Levy, Jonathon Goff for ILB Depth
Rocky McIntosh would be a great addition if we are indeed goin with a 4-3
Matt Roth--Maybe bring him back to Rush the passer he was successful in Cleveland

Eric Steinbach/ Jake Scott--Could def improve our Oline
Marcus McNeil--Back up OT that if healthy could be a Pro Bowl RT He would sign Minimum contract and could be a huge reward
Braylon Edwards/Roy Williams--I like Edwards and maybe Roy could excel in the West coast Offense

If I had a say so I would bring in Atogwe, Braylon Edwards, and one of the lineman---If we run a 4-3 McIntosh would be a great addition

A youth movement is clearly taking place in Miami. Veterans need not apply.

Ah we wanna win and thus we have to sign some players during FA. Here is where vets would apply. I would take Scott and a wr.

Don't tell that to a certain RT/RG we picked up in F/A.

The questions should only be 3 in number: (1) Does Player X fit the new "system"? (2) is he an noticeable upgrade? and (3) how much ($$$)? Think of it as a 3 part Final Exam...pass all 3 Parts, and you're Summa Cum Laude; pass 2 of 3, and you're a solid D; pass only 1 of 3, and you're now flipping burgers somewhere, w/few prospects, and having been disowned by your Parents, and disavowed by just about everyone, including your soon-to-be ex-Wife/Fiancee/Squeeze.

i think we will be looking at Green Bay cuts that Philbin already knows and the same with Dallas ( as usual ) The good thing about changing offensive strategy is players that don't fit elsewhere are perfect for what we need.

No to Braylon Edwards. He is not a West coast offense WR and his hands are worse than Brandon Marshall's.

Well Jake Scott I think would fill a big gap at RG and make our OL one of the best in NFL. We need to resign WAKE befoe any mre signings. I smell a FASANO and Mcdaniel Cuts and Dansby restructure coming so we can resign WAKE and possibly sign Jake Scott.

The only guys I like from your list are Jake Scott and Rocky McIntosh

Pre-draft. No way of knowing if Miami would end up with legit OL. Not expecting Martin to be there in round 2. Except for desperation due to injury I wouldn't expect much in the way of veteran signings.

Jake Scott would be fine with me. Everyone else on that list is not a fit. Edwards is terrible, Atogwe is done, McNeil might not ever be cleared to play again, Steinbeck is oft-injured, and everyone else wouldnt make the team. I agree that there's a youth movement in Miami.

I doubt Fasano get cut. He is in the last year of his contract and is presently the only tight end on the team that can block worth a damn.

I think that Fasano has been a very solid player for us. Sure, he is not the most dynamic TE in the NFL, but he blocks well and has made a lot of great catches for us to boot. I agree that I cannot see him being cut in the final year of his contract.
