Everyone knows now if you have a taller more atheletic player guarding him (which essentially every shooting guard in the NBA is) you can shut him down. Praise his drving game all you want but in the end hes just an undersized, unatheletic shooter.

He is just as tall as Rashad MCcants, jason richardson, and d-wade. He reminds me of Chris Mullin who had a succesful NBA career. I watch this kid play all the time and he could be something special. Imagine him paired up with Shaq :drool: .Ferretsquig said:

his driving game is all based on him pushing off and him flopping to make it look like he was fouled then getting the calla nd hitting his FTs. In the NBA scrubs don't get those calls only stars can get away w/ that so he is doomed in the NBA.
Just as tall but rashad's wingspan is much greater so while he's 6'4" he has the wingspan of a 6'8 player.
Many great college shooters, I mean actually great not perceievd like JJ, never made it int he NBA. Shoters who actually could shoot in the clutch as well, guys like Scotty Thurman(if you are a duke fan you surely remember him), Donald Williams, Steve Alford, Rodney monroe, ... JJ is not in the league of those players and they didn't make the NBA.

Reddicks 3 pt % is a reflection on his shot selection. He is a great shooter. Hes got great range and great mechanics. With some coaching he will make it in the NBA and be a contributer. You guys being blinded by your hatred for Duke
Reddick was the best player in the college game this year hands down!

Does shot selection count? Do they not count those shots just b/c they were bad? he takes a ton of bad shots, that's the way he plays but he also misses wide open shots in crunch time. He's not a great game shooter, I know he can light it up in practice but in a game he's a good shooter and will never make an impact in the NBA.

Check his Tourney #s, for the 3rd straiht yar he was BRUTAL. he alsways folds in the big spot. He is overrated b/c he is a duke player, he led the league in scoring b/c he shot much more than anyone else, he is not an efficient player. His %'s are horrible for someone who is supposed to be a "great shooter".
he wasn't even the best player on his team.

Yes he could make it in the NBA if he was paired with Shaq....just like Damon Jones is making it now. Most any college player who can hit the three could make it in the NBA with Shaq....only problem is there is only one Shaq.
Its ok...let the love fest for Reddick continue....a lot of people need some white guy to pin their hopes on. But I'll maintain as long as he is on that team they will struggle against good competition. Duke will win the ACC next year, and get knocked out early in the tourney again.
