Id play a high variance/aggressive defensive style (either make a big play or get burned on defense. Keep the defense off the field.). Play conservative on offense to give the defense more rest unless the game script dictates other wise. Main thing is to protect the defense this game.

But it's the same for the Bengals. Although they didn't have to travel so advantage there. But it's not like we are playing a team on full rest and recovery either.

I think everyone is missing the bigger picture.
How well we can game plan in a short week and put it into practice will be our most important issue.

Lost in the shuffle is that the bengals D was on the field for 72 plays. That is a lot by NFL standards too. Our D was on the field for 96 plays.

My point is that the bengals D isn’t exactly rested either.

Limit the big plays. Get sacks. Sustain drives on O. That’s going to be the game plan.

The question is, can Burrow and his line hold up like Buffalo did to keep converting first downs. I don’t think so.

I understand we had a tough, tight game in the heat, but it reads too much somehow Cinci didn’t play Sunday? Both teams are on short rest.

I don’t like the idea of built in excuses here. Let’s get after this one as 4-0 and 10 days of rest would be amazing.
