Like I said, Miami is going to have to have the BEST pass rush team in the NFL so that secondary dont get abused. Ashley Lelie dropped how many passes? Last count I had was 5 drops, one of which was a TD pass. All Denver's TE's dropped their passes, but two or three. We got lucky that they had the droppsies. But, That DL was blazin. We got very fortunate in the secondary though. Just as I thought. Hope that DL keeps pouring the pressure on, but eventualy that will come to a halt. It was a very nice win, hope they continue.
As for Caddy, come on now, your going to try to justify Ronnies numbers because of Carnells one long TD run. You must be the same ones who want to exclude Big Ben from some hypothetical rule, to justify mediocreness. That is what you want, is a RB who is NFL ready, and can make the long runs, just as a QB who is NFL ready and can go 15-1. YOu can try to stick up for Ronnie, but Carnell made Ronnie eat his dust. Just like I tried to tell you all clear back in March until now. Ronnie is going to be a good back, but nothing special. Carnell will be a HOF RB, and be very special. Ronnie = 1K all purpose yard/season back. Carnell = next Barry Sanders.
All in all, hope I am wrong, but Miami looked like they came out to prove everybody wrong, hope that continues. But, It's a long season, and eventually, a team wont make all those drops in the secondary, and take advantage of our very weak secondary. Then, we will see how our D holds up. Great win, hope they continue, but I think it was just a statement game. Hope I am wrong.
