We had a first year starting QB (Henne) throw a TD pass to a second year undrafted free agent (Bess) and throw a TD pass to a rookie WR (Hartline).

That same first year starting QB took snaps from the backup center (Berger) and was protected on his left side by second year left tackle (Long) and on the right side by a first year starting guard (Thomas).

Another WR (Ginn) made two crucial catches down the sideline to set up a field goal at the end of the half by a second year kicker (Carpenter) who also kicked the game winning field goal after being driven down the field by that same first year starting QB.

The Patriots run attack was stuffed all day by third year back up nose tackle (Soliai, who also stuffed the Pats on 4th and 1 from the dolphin 6) and second year end (Langford). Brady was intercepted in the endzone by a rookie CB (Davis) which kept us in the game. On the other side of the field, rookie CB (Smith) played a decent game and almost came away with another pick of Brady on the TD throw to Aiken.

The team is coached by second year head coach Sparano.

Am I missing anything?

Edit: And CFL rookie (Wake) put the pressure on Brady causing him to throw an INT to ice the game (thanks FISHFAN)

Yea, I think you missed one more thing. Brady was forced into and errant throw by a crashing rookie DE (WAKE), intercepted by a 4th yr LB (CROWDER) that ended any possible miracle the Pats might have thought they had left!

Yeah, i wish the 13 and 11 year veteran OLB'ers can put more pressure on the QB's like they are supposed to...

I was watcing the game with some Pats fans, and before it started they were complaining about injuries they had suffered. I told them not to tell me about injuries and explained how we lost our starting quarterback, our best offensive player and our best interior defensive lineman to season ending injuries.
To put it into perspective, I asked them how they would fare if they lost Tom Brady, Randy Moss (or Wes Welker depending on your opinion) and VInce Wilfork for the season. Yeah not so well.

Everyone suffers injuries. its part of the game. What makes this team, this coaching staff and this F.O. great has been there ability to deal with them and still stay competitive.

The future looks bright.... I said it last year, soon nobody will want to play this team!

I love that fact the we are "building" a champion, and not "buying" one.

We're doing things the right way.
This team is so much fun to watch right now.
I can't wait to see what this team looks like in 2 years.

I forgot what point of the game this was but did anyone see Berger come off the a double team of Wilfork and knock an unblocked Banta Cain flat on his face...Banta was about to blindside Henne ..Chad ended up throwing for the 1st too!

Wake was amazing on that play. I can't wait to see more of him.

funny how just last week, we were saying the same exact things only using them as an excuse why we played such a ****ty game against the Bills.
