think we will be as impressed(if not more) with daunte when training camp starts?

I agree with you. It's a different feeling for me, knowing we have a quarterback like Daunte that's going to be leading us this year. I was 15 when Dan retired and never truly understood just how important it is to have a great QB, and what Dan himself meant to the organization the way I'm sure some older Finfans do; I understand it much more know having sat through the likes of Ears, Feeley, Lucas, Griese, Frerotte and Huard and cannot wait for the season to start.

yea it feels nice this year that we arnt going to have to worry about a bunch of qbs battling it out for the #1 qb position....we know that dauntes our number 1 and that joeys our number 2 and theres no if and or buts about it...im looking foward to see how many people duante aws in tc

i know exactly what you mean. i played qb in highschool(and will next year in college) and im 6'4 215 lbs. im not huge but im not small. and last year for camp he walked by the fields where they practiced for training camp in mankato minnesota. and he was signing autographs and i couldnt believe how big he was. he looks big on t.v but hes monsterous(especially for a qb) last year he was a lil bigger then he was in the previous years, but the guy is pretty ripped too. i didnt look 6'4 215 next to him. hes listed at 6'4 but he looked taller then me
