1. Shame on all of those that said even if Miami made it they would be "one and done". If Miami could have played somewhere near their level they did vs Pittsburgh and New England, they very well could have won.
2. Miami matches up well with the Bengals.
3. Miami has a better QB than the Bengals
4. The level this team played at the last two weeks of the season simply angers me even more seeing this game.
5. One never knows when they have an opportunity like Miami and SD had at the end of the season. SD took advantage of their opportunity. Who knows when Miami will have a chance again.
6. Mike McCoy is going to be an outstanding coach. He is doing nice work. I supported his candidacy with Miami and am being proven right just one year into his coaching career

If I would guess points 1-5 are just a vehicle to slip in point #6

Dude...just stop please. We get it McCoy is you pick but guess what it was Ireland's as well . That makes you about as good as he is Congratulations!

Good I told ya so thread mc....
But, I tend to agree with your points anyway.. Keep fighting the good fight mr.

My thoughts: with the Bengals out, perhaps now we can clean house and interview Jay Gruden for the head coaching position.

I wanted McCoy in Miami as well, but I don't think he would've faired as well here with these players Ireland got for an offensive line and them horrendous linebackers. McCoy had a good team handed to him.

When I was told how wrong I was for weeks about supporting McCoy and how I thought Philbin was not qualified for the gig, I feel the need to revisit history.

When Joe showed signs of being out of touch with his team on Hard Knocks and I called him out for it....I was crushed here.

Now....it has played out on the field and I feel justified that I was right, but pissed and angry because my team is done and not going to Denver.

I did not know you were the official coach evaluation guy I had to listen to.
