• With Pittsburgh being locked into second place in the AFC North, the Dolphins' road opponents for the 2006 season have been set. In addition to the AFC East opponents, the Dolphins will face Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Houston and Pittsburgh. The Dolphins' home opponents have not been finalized. Aside from the AFC East, they will play Green Bay, Minnesota, Tennessee, Jacksonville and the second-place team from the AFC West -- Denver, San Diego or Kansas City.

• The Dolphins allowed a 300-yard passing game for the first time since Sept. 14, 2003, when Jets quarterback Vinny Testaverde did it. That broke a streak of 43 games without allowing one.

Indy, Chigaco, Pitt, & Jax? Yikes!

Wooooo boy, gotta love that schedule. I love playing tough teams...it builds character.

re:

Tough schedule as always. I think we'll do just fine :D

The two toughest will be Indy and JaX. Every other game is fairly winnable. The NFC North isn't good with the exception of Chicago, and I think Pittsburgh is on a downward spiral. Houston and Tennessee are very winnable. Divisional games are all winnable, but we'd probably lose one or two.

So I'm think 13-3 next year.;) God willing of course.

Good. I really hope we pound Pittsburgh.

Yeah, but you'll soon be seeing the following on Indy, Chicago, Pitt & Jax fan boards:

"Miami, coming to our house? Yikes!!!"

That's easily one of the hardest schedules we've had, we pretty much play every AFC Playoff team

Don't base this year's stats for next year's schedule. Remember, last year we played in the toughest division around. Coming into the season, we had the hardest strength of schedule too. Look how that turned out.

I still don't buy Chicago as anything more than a lucky defensive team. I just don't. y and Jax are good of course and probably will remain good next year. Minnesota will be with Brad Johnson again next year as well. I doubt Culpepper is back before November. He hit the trifecta on the knee.

Green Bay should be improved with their offensive players coming back. Detroit...sucks as does Houston.

Also, is there EVER going to be a year we don't play Tennessee or Indy? Good lord I thought Indy was out of our division? It seems we play one or both of these teams every year. Annoying is what it is.

The game against Detroit should be on Thanksgiving,Detroit has to play a AFC team and they only have two, Miami or Buffalo and who do you think the NFL wants on TURKEY DAY.:dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can see jacksonville and chicago falling off next year. actually any of them could, who knows. indy may lose edge and wayne

Chicago's offense is soooo bad, that's why they won't get to the Super Bowl. Orton and Grossman don't equal Manning, Palmer, or Hasselbeck

Yeah, it's a tough one no doubt. It'll be a huge test for this team, though, to determine whether or not our strong finish at the end of this year really meant something. We can still finish with 10+ wins next year since we'll most likely be a much improved team.

On a side note, why does it look like Parcells and Belicheck are gonna make out in your sig? :barf: :chuckle:
