This Could Be A Blessing

People are knocking Jason Allen due to a poor decision by the coaching staff to blitz Daniels, leaving him one on one with Matt Jones down the field. That was a terrible call, and it should be noted.. Allen was left for death.

There is no blessing for another no playoff season...I'm so TIRED of "looking foward to next year" ..... Well we know we'll have a new kicker, jason allen sucks, and our stars are all a year older, as we are... Almost everyone we needed to loose today did and we lay an egg....:shakeno:

Could'nt have said it better myself... I am tired of it!!:fire:

Our superbowl for this year is winning the number 1 spot in "America's Game". I was really hoping for a home game superbowl...but, alas, not to be. 2010 HERE WE COME!

Right now, we have to come to terms with the fact that the Miami Dolphins arent going to the post-season, but that doesnt mean thats ALL bad news.

With four games left, and three against divisional rivals, this is the chance for Nick and the team to try things with the backing that a defeat doesnt matter now, however disapointing that is to say.

Jason Allen, I didnt see the game today, but people said he looked bad. The kid hasnt played much yet, and he has to start the last 4 so he can get used to playing the teams in our division and also get general playing time.

Matt Roth, start the lad. Carter can have a slightly reduced role, and we can see what Roth can do, it has to be said he is growing into a nice DE, but he isnt getting the chance to progress as quickly as perhaps he would like.

Cleo Lemon? Some people will be asking for him to start. In truth this doesnt matter as Daunte is the starter and Joey will be the back up next year, but if we let the kid play we can see 'where he's at' and again, we may aswell do it in these now meaningless games.

New Kicker? Hey, may as well. Even if we dont sign them as the kicker for '07, Mare must know he isnt back next season and it cant do him or the team any good with him about now.

Chris Chambers, its a little late, but it would be good to see Chris Chambers have another late end of season burst and give us more reason to think come next season #84 will be 'the real deal'

Derrick Hagan. Bleed this rookie into the team abit more. If saban is leaning towards cutting Booker in the off season (which I think will happen) he should let Hagan take a few snaps in Martys place, despite the fact he has hit a bit of form.

The list goes on guys, this is now a 4 game pre-season, and a chance for maybe even Culpepper to come back and play the Colts back-ups week 17 and get some playing time and some confidence in his playing abilty.

"EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON" I live and die by the motto. Im sticking to it today depsite my sadness.

Come September 2007, all this season would have been "forgotton" and the excitement and dreams for the upcoming season will have set in, a fresh start and I tell you guys, it will be here before you know it.

Miami Dolphins are the best team in football, regardless of what anyone tells me!

GO MIAMI!!! :dolphins:

The Fins are not the best team in football...they couldn't compete in a womens league. They are that bad.

Come 2007, I guarantee you I'll be remembering this season..and I'll be here telling you how and why the Fins suck...again!

This season happened for a reason, you can count on that...but that reason has said he intends to stay here instead of going to Alabama. last year we lost 7 games. We have already matched that total. I am willing to bet there's at least one more loss in the funnel.

And we have more of the same reasons not to be optimistic for next season.

And you should know that Saban doesn't think the preseason is four weeks. He thinks its twelve. Look at our record to start both this season and last.

Derek Hagan couldn't catch a cold. Chris Chambers is horrible. Who cares what he does the last four games? Hes totally inconsistent and isn't a difference maker whatsoever. My puppy has more heart and drive than CC.

Why change kickers? If we were going to change kickers, we should have changed when it mattered. Its irrelevant now.

And if DC is the starting QB next year, it means that NS hasn't learned a thing..which leads me to believe DC will be the starting QB next season.

JA may or not get more time next year. He is now "Jamar Allen" to honor the last DB we took in the first round, and whose talent he emulates...Jamar Fletcher. My apologies to Jamar Fletcher if he feels insulted.

I don't know brother..I pretty much see ALL bad news..but maybe its just me.

We are going to turn into the Chicago Cubs if we keep "looking forward to next year."

If we're going to turn into the NFL version of the Cubs, can we at least get a dedicated fanbase as a consolation prize?

Maybe, maybe not. Hasselbeck, Romo, Brunell, Delhomme, even Tom Brady. All of those guys were mid to late round or free agent QB's that spent time as someone's 3rd stringer. Cleo Lemon is highly thought of not only by Miami's staff, but by Marty Schottenheimer as well, who was reportedly furious that their GM, AJ Smith, traded him to us. There are many NFL scouts and personnel guys that really like the kid.

I think they should look at him for a few games at the end of the year. He might be ready for a backup spot nest season. He might even be ready for a starter's spot. He's been the league long enough now.

Are you kidding me? He's a rookie 3rd rounder give him some time man.

Rookie 3rd rounder has little to do with it. It's usually other facets of the game that rookie receivers have a problem with.

He had problems with dropped passes before he ever put on an NFL uniform. He needs to get this corrected, period. It's not an experience thing. It's a concentration thing.

Cut Booker? Yeah right. They better make every effort to restructure his contract and keep the guy. He's been very consistent and he makes plays. I agree that Hagan needs reps, but he needs to work on his hands very badly.

i know im gonna get bashed for this but i know its not likely but we arent totally done for the post season yet even though it is kind of a long shot but we arent done yet

Hey guys. Just read all the comments. Some made me laugh, Yes im 18, and still call players 'kids' lol, but hey, thats they way im used to doing it. :D

Im as disapointed as everyone but theres nothing any of us can do, so I was/am attempting to put things in a clearer light.

You all made some good points in the thread. :cooldude:

Funny how a rookie seventh rounder in NO is having no problems hanging on to the ball.

Yep. Which is why the draft is so un predictable - so you may as well win as many as you can a season, hence, us winning out!

GO MIAMI!

Daunte is horrible in reality, in minnesota he was a fumbling machine and took too many risks. WE don't have those type of receivers that can catch lots of balls. He doesn't fit this system with the current players we have.... get rid of both daunte and joey..
