Minus the Tanny injury, This feels just like 2016.

The team was 3-4 going into the bye, and there were hurt players all over the place. We ended up going 7-2 after our bye and were on a ROLL until tanny took that cheap shot in the playoffs.

Keep in mind, the next season he didn't play, and yet we started this season 3-0, with tons of hype. Im not saying #17 is the answer, but he is just what this team needs right now to make a solid playoff run.

One difference is the Injuries

Perhaps you should save judgement till you see him play.

It does kind of have that feel but we gonna have our hands full sunday.

Colts playing very good ball. Especially at home.

It feels nothing like that year to me... That team was improving each game after the slow start. This years its the opposite. They've gotten worse each game after a fast start.

Tannehill was really coming into his own that year too. The SD game was a thing of beauty. Unquestionably his best game IMO. Then he got smacked down by the Ravens, and followed up with an injury in AZ and that was that.

We’re a .500 team, and we were in 2016 as well. We got lucky and won some games we shouldn’t have that year to get into the playoffs, and there’s a chance that things could break right for us again. Probable? No way. A chance? There’s always a chance.

Sounds like a total hype thread IMO. Which IMO suddenly the board is littered with. Makes me wonder if a Billionaire can impact "social media?" LOL. Of course with those kind of resources anything is possible -- except a high performance Dolpins team.

This team is going nowhere -- and the sudden Thill hype is really interesting. How fast so many seemingly are forgetting how

typically Tannehill he played just a little while ago (yo -- same season)!

But don't worry -- we've got TONS of excuses in the bank to guard that vaunted "credibility factor"

from descending into totally empty stands!

Not too far down the road...

I'm not really feeling a 2016 vibe here. Tannehill is back which is a lot better than watching Osweiler struggle. That's what we have at this point. If they win in Indy, maybe we can talk about making some sort of run. We've been total garbage on the road, but playing indoors is probably the best situation for Tannehill imho. If we had all our skill guys on offense it'd have been fun to watch the speed showcase in a dome.

Just wanna ask... In terms of optimism regarding Brock v. Thill -- can you provide a few examples

(in his 7 year+ career) where Thill LIT UP the scoreboard consistently? Better yet, shorter term under Gase,

when has our brilliant O embarrassed other teams? That said, given the current state of the team,

QB talent and coaching, I don't believe there's a significant upgrade (relative to scoring points, especially TDs)

to be had ANYWHERE on our roster relative to QB.

RT > Brock? OK.

But I think Fales is > Brock.

But, in terms of generating TDs, they all suck.
