Ok let me start out by saying id love to write a whole article thats well thought out here and get everything off my chest but its simply just too many things and quite frankly is at the point where im so disgusted I cant make it through another 20 mins of keeping this stuff in. replaying all the problems and short comings of this team has become too cumbersome to not vent. . .
So i really did try to Go into tonights game with the whole Suck for Luck idea in the back of my mind. Tried to tell myself its a win win. Either we beat the damn jest or if not we will be one step closer to Luck. . .yada yada yada. Well That lasted all of 5 minutes before kickoff. As soon as I seen those f%*king JEST and their Damn pathetic Head coach and all those mindless disgraceful fans i wanted nothing more than to deliver what could've been a nail in their coffin on the season. Im just not the type to be able to root for losses cause each one is sooooo painful too me.
Not only did we fail to do so but we failed to compete in the game. Sure we were "dominating" the first quarter but at no time was this game ours to lose. We have become a team inflicted and infused with an innate ability to lose games in confusing and highly aggravating ways. I remember the days when this team was revered as a symbol of success. . . We truly are the nfls new Buffalo Bills . . . . SMH Now we are nothing more than a collection clock management follies, dropped passes, and a platform for Nfl Tight ends to post new career highs week after week.
The thing im most upset about is the fact that even on the national stage and against bitter rivals we showed no emotion. . . .No frustration. . . NOTHING!! This is the JETS. . .AND THEY ARE EMBARRASSING YOU ON NATIONAL TV!!!! YOUR 0-5!!!!!! Why is their no impassioned play. . . nothing. Ive been a believe, a homer, an optimist. . . ETC.
But its becoming obvious to even the few of us like me. . . This team needs to be GUTTED!!! New Philosophy. . . New Coach. . . New Gm. . . New QB. . . New everything. . . Only Players of the top of my head that should be kept are for sure are: Long, Pouncey, Wake(trade if you can get 2nd), Bess, Jimmy Wilson, Carpenter, Fields, and MAYBEEE : Davis, Marshall(take 3rd if you can get it), Thomas.
This team doesn't believe in themselves and cant play together. We are far more talented than the 07 season yet are likely to repeat the results of that year. In short for the first time I HAVE FINALLY been converted. . . Its too painful to continue this way. We better hope we can get a real NFL coach who can bring some stability finally to this franchise as well as some ingenuity and innovativeness to both sides of the ball cause as long as the Hoodie is in New England it seems we are destined for the cellar.
We better get Andrew Luck as well. Cause we as fans deserve better than this. . . We need to return this team to its former glory. . . First step like sooo many have suggested at this point is simply this:SUCK FOR LUCK
For those of you still on the edge like i was, think of it like this, Its gonna be a long 11 weeks. . . . . . But its been a long 11 years. I Don't think i can take 11 weeks but i know i cant take another 11 years. . . .
