2002 Draft:
no 1st or 2nd rd. picks
3. Seth McKinney
4. Randy McMichael
5a. Omar Lowe
5b. Sam Simmons
7. Leonard Henry

The draft brought two full time starters: McKinney and McMichael. Henry played sparingly. Lowe and Simmons never played.

2003 Draft:
no 1st rd. pick
2. Eddie Moore
3a. Wade Smith
3b. Taylor Whitley
no 4th rd. pick
5a. Donald Lee
5b. JR Tolver
6a. Corey Jenkins
6b. Tim Provost
6c. Yeremiah Bell
7(comp pick) Davern Williams

This had to be one of the worst drafts in the modern era of pro sports. I think this draft did more to set the franchise back than any other. The worst draft pick ever was Wade Smith. The guy could not even get out of his stance before the defender was by him. Eddie Moore was a total bust. The only guy that is decent is Yeremiah. I had hopes that Corey Jenkins could play LB but that never materialized. The rest were just bad. It's sad when the best of your draft class is a 7th rd. pick.

2004 Draft:
1. Vernon Carey
no 2nd or 3rd picks.
4. Will Poole
5. Tony Bua
6. Rex Hadnot
7a.Tony Pape
7b.Derrick Pope

Vernon Carey was a good pick. Will Poole was always hurt. I thought Tony Bua should have stayed on the team for special teams. Hadnot was a decent player. Pape couldn't make up his mind whether he wanted to play the game. Derrick Pope turned out to be a valuable ST and back-up.

2005 Draft:
1. Ronnie Brown
2. Matt Roth
3. Channing Crowder
4. Travis Daniels
5. Anthony Alabi
no 6th rd. pick
7. Kevin Vickerson

RB, if he could stay healthy, could be a star. But that is a big if. Matt Roth seems to have hit his ceiling. Maybe a good situational player, but not a starter. Channing Crowder, while not spectacular, is a solid player. Travis Daniels maybe a S, but is definitely not a CB. Never understood why people liked Alabi. Vickerson never got a chance, probably didn't deserve it.

No comment on 2006.

2006 Draft:
1. Jason Allen
no 2nd rd. pick
3. Derek Hagan
4. Joe Toledo
5th pick forfeited
no 6th rd. pick
7a. Fred Evans
7b. Rod Wright
7c. Devin Aromashadu

2003 was a DISASTER

for them to have that many picks and miss on virtually every player.

Yeremiah Bell has been good when healthy, but he's been injury plagued more often than not.

BUT LOOK AT IT THIS WAY, OUR LAST GOOD DRAFT A CLINTON WAS CAMPAIGNING FOR THE PRESIDENCY, SO MAYBE THIS IS OUR YEAR!?

The draft is where you build your ball club. Safe to say the dolphins didnt do much building through the years as it finally caught up to them. (1-15)
I think we've paid our dues and suffered enough bad drafting.
I have confidence in the Tuna and his crew

2002 Draft:

My Take Sam Simmons actually played on special teams, but got cut, then I believe we brought Lamont Brightful in for punt return and he got cut and we brought Wes Welker in.

Omare Lowe is still in the league

Leonard Henry isnt, but he actually played.

But of course Randy was the best player chosen in that draft, I still wish he was a Dolphin.

2003 Draft:

Last time I checked, Eddie Moore was in Denver, Wade Smith with the Jets, Taylor Whitley was a Bronco at one time, and Donald Lee is starting in Green Bay. The best players we got in this draft were Yeremiah Bell and Donald Lee

2004 Draft:

To be honest I was really hoping we would get Shawn Andrews but the Eagles traded up and got him, but Carey has been a good pick, but I still think it was a stupid move to trade up one pick to get him... I always liked Will Poole and was hoping hed get better, last time I heard he got cut by Kansas City. Last thing I heard about Bua is that he is currently out of the league, he was a Bengal at one time, man that was a big hit, we won our 1st game that year against the Rams. Hadnot is a good guard, surprised we didnt try to resign him, but glad we didnt over pay him. And Derek Pope was a good pick too, good special teams player. Best pick has to be Carey and Hadnot

2005 Draft:

When hes healthy Ronnie Brown is a beat, im a strong believer of him. Matt Roth is decent, and hopefully he can pick his game up. I like Crowder and hope he has a big season this year, and Travis got burnt too much last year a CB. But atleast them 4 are still on the roster.

2006 Draft:

Jason Allen looked good to me when he finally got comfortable last year, he would should have ended up with 4 picks this year, he got robbed in that London game, but he was everywhere in the Eagles game, had fans turning heads, thats cause I was at the game. I am a believer in Jason and still think he will be a good safety. Derek is okay, he drops too many passes, hopefully he can get over that. Big fan of Rod Wright in college, and glad he came back healthy from the shoulder injury. Evans would have been great for us this year. And Devin actually played this year for the Colts.

I agree, I think this next draft is going to kick ***

Awesome sigs bro (especially the Ricky one, gotta love the dreaded one).

Thanks alot man, hopefully its the Ricky of old, it looked like he got his weight back up from 2005, I just hope no thug steps on him again.

Anytime bro, yeah I hope its the beast Ricky. I am not a big fan of the skinnier and faster one. I believe he did have his weight up like in the past but it seems his pads are not as thick as before. Its like they are deflated lol. Yeah hopefully no FSU dummy steps on him again, freaking Florida State.

Its all about the U and the Dolphins of course!

I remember in 2005 when Ricky ran towards Asante Samuel and Asante dropped him. And I remember thinking to myself how lucky he was that it wasent the bigger Ricky.

I know exactly what play you are talking about. The bigger Ricky would have bulldozed right through him or carried his carcass. Lets just hope Ricky can come here and be productive for us because it would be sad to see his talent be useless to not just this team but this league.

Not just for us but for Ricky too, I hope he gets his life back in order.

Yeah I heard he stopped smoking weed for a while now.

Good night, I would stay up but got freaking NRT testing tomorrow lol. Freaking state of Florida.

Nice talkin to you.

Peace.
