I am really getting tired of this, especially from the media, more so from the forums.

Saban has had this job for not even 2 years and we are already calling for his head??????

Don't beleive this crap the media is stirring up, im sorry he inherited a 4-12 team, with salary cap problems and with issues at various skill positions.

It takes time, I know were not used to this kinda play but so be it, give the guy 5 to 7 years, look how long it took Holmgren, Cowher, even Billy B, it takes a long time.

I will be very upset if the media starts to try and run Saban out of town, its not right, people we have installed in 18 months a new offensive and defensive system.

We went from man coverage 4-3 to a 3-4 zone coverage blitz, we don't have the right people yet.

I said it before and I've quoted my own posts 10-6 is a good season for us, but don't be surprised if we go 7-9 this year, 2007 is the indicator.

Saban and GM Mueller are working hard to improve this team, we have better QB's then we ever had, darn good rb's, a secondary that people think is a laughing stock now, but trust me by years end they will be difficult to beat.

The 2006 streak as I thought would haunt us, much like the Bills the previous year, especially when half the team is gone from 06.

DON'T BELEIVE THE HYPE, we are fine we have a great coaching staff and we will improve, we will have a team that has moveable and removable parts

Be patient and relax, weather the storm, good things are around the corner.

I don't think you're accurately portraying the majority of us.
 
I have alot of faith in Saban. I think im not alone with that belief.
 
I'm all for Saban too. Just needs time, was only 2 years ago we were 4-12 and he inherited a mess from Wannstedt.
 
Coaches and the media

I think the media hates Saban because he won't let reporters speak to the team. That is why when fans critisized the likes of Wannstedt on radio talk shows, they would hang up on them because the media darling Wannstedt was alway available to them and let them suck up to him. This is why the media keep telling fans what a winning coach he was. I think Saban did make a mistake with C-Pep though, he is damaged goods. Every team is bringing 2 to 3 people extra because C-Pep is slow way from the line and his release is slow and akward. You can not block 8 people with 6; do the math. :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:
 
Saban

Great post. I hope Miami doesn't run Saban out of town. Hey give the guy a chance ...I seen what he did with LSU. This guy wants to win more than anybody on the Dolphins staff and he will get the people in place to win but that doesn't happen overnight.
 
I am behind Saban 100%. I like his attitude and he reminds me so much of Belichick. Dol-fans need to be patient. Hopefully Saban will be here as long as Shula was.
 
He's a young NFL coach who will have his struggles, but ultimately be a good one, IMO. But as most finfans are finding out, he's not the second coming...
