If the Dolphins are able to make the playoffs via Division or WC, there is NO reason why we couldn't make it to the Super bowl......

What? Huh!?! Am I crazy? Do I need medication? No, and here's why:

The most "menacing" team in the AFC this year is the Colts; a team that we pushed closer to defeat than any other team so far. I don't know about you guys, but i would be extremely confident going into a playoff game against Indianapolis.

The only scary team I see in the AFC is the Chargers, and yet we were still able to hang with them until a Chad Henne inopportune pick-6 (when he had replace Penny mid-game). I would have confidence facing SD as well...

Now, both the Broncos and Bengals are tough teams in their own right, but we can all agree that neither team is unbeatable.

Beating any combination of those 3 teams, would vault into the Superbowl. And when you're playing the Superbowl in YOUR HOUSE......ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!! (Citing my best KG impersonation).
 
The Dolphins can play with the best of them but they have issues being consistent which is what you need for a championship. I'm not one of those "CAN'T win the Superbowl" that's garbage, it's just that it's so far from my mind right now. Let's see the Dolphins knock off these next few good teams before they have to play the real good ones in the playoffs.
 
I somewhat agree. Its possible the phins can take any team into the 4th qtr down by 7 or 10. But for every indy and saints game that we kept close. We lost to the bills and probably should have lost to the bucs, panther, jets. And pats. I'm not overconfidebt by a long shot.
 
Its been an up and down season.. Now sitting at .500 is awesome and going to be very tough to get to the playoffs. I hope to see the post-season but not getting my hopes up until we win Sunday.
 
Not to be a downer as I want to go all the way myself but the team didn't have nearly as many injuries when we played indy either at the very least its something we need to cosider when assesing our post season hopes.

y should we have lost to carolina?
 
The panther game came down to a desperation throw into the endzone against a horrible team. That was a game we could of easily lost. They win these last for games then, I'm going to rethink their chances of the super bowl.
 
too many injuries unfortunately I think
 
i just keep thinking about last year and how Arizona, the freakin' 8-8 Arizona Cardinals, made it all the way to the Super Bowl. And hell, they came close to winning the whole thing. It's all about momentum going into the playoffs...now is the time to start seeing that momentum....can't wait for Sunday.
 
While I agree this team may have a decent chance if we get to the playoffs, let's get there first.

I'm half-expecting the team to flop against Jax and then everyone on the board to be "well, this team wasn't ready" and "what were we expecting?" and "we had a chance and just blew it." We have four VERY tough games coming up.

On the other hand, this team would be more dangerous passing wise this time around, and you've got to believe Miami will be better pass-rushing, and in coverage against the TE this time around.

Also let us not forget, the Colts seem to be a different team in the playoffs.....but we are getting ahead of ourseves, let start by beating the Jaguars, and then go 1 week at a time, before we even think about Colts or Chargers Pt2.
 
The only team in the league that scares me is the Saints, all the others I feel we can and will beat if we played them in the playoffs. We are just starting to hit our stride, If we can but a couple of wins together I think Chad's arm is strong enough to battle the top D in the playoffs, something that CP10 was lacking.....
