Well guys all those years we were in first or second place always in the playoffs or close sometimes you lose prespective on winning beacuse miami always did, now i know how a jets fan feels, all those 1-15, 6-10 4-12 years they had for decades and decades, this is how it felt. This is how it felt to be coached by rich kotite and the other idiots they had. They would be out of it by halloween every year including last year, have a good year every five or so. This is JETS hell. :shakeno: :shakeno:

No way...
We just lost 3 games in a row and you're comparing this to 4-12 seasons and the Rich Kotite era...We'd have to be bad for the next 2 years to be compared to that...Jets fan went through a lot worse...
Heck people seem to forget the Jets starteds last season 0-4, 1 season later and everybody's back on the bandwagon...

Having your Star QB out will do that to any team, ask the Falcons too.

Anyway, this is peanuts compared to the Kotite years, talk to me when you guys win 5 games over the span of 2 years.

Not our team....when Marino went down, we went 9-7 that season.

I'm hoping we will recover like the Panthers.

Go 2-14, Fire the Coach, go to the SB two years later.

Not that I'm hoping to go 2-14.. but you get the idea..

I love this guy! He always has the right comeback to put a damper on your point. It's great!

Fair enough, but that was a long time ago. Not many teams in the NFL today could survive losing there star QB for the year.
Just look at how Ray Lucas and Brian Griese did for the Fins, and Jay Fiedler is far from a "Star QB". That kind of a hit is usually insurmountable.

And in the Pats case, they already sucked. And they struck gold with a back up. Not something you can bank on.

I'd say what you're going through ain't even halfway close to the ballpark.
If you lose 50+ games in next 4 years, then we'll talk about losing tradition.
(To break 50, you'd need 2 3-13 seasons and 2 4-12 seasons.:D )
