This IS THE TEST.

This is more or less a playoff game RIGHT HERE.

The loser of this game is really up against it, while the winner has an outstanding shot of getting in the playoffs.

Today is the day we learn SO MUCH about this team...................

Lose and were just another nice little story of a team that went 1-15 and turned it around to have a decent season. A team that is kind of a nusence that is a formatable oppenent. A team that other teams respect and dont really want to have to play, but more or less just another team. Lose and were no longer the laughingstock of the league, but were just another team.

BUT WIN, WIN AND WERE A FACTOR. Win and we are LEGIT. Win and we are TRULY in the mix for the first time this year. Win and we are one of the greatest stories in the history of the league. A team that went 1-15 to a team that could very well win the division or at least make the playoffs. Thats REMARKABLE.

But again, lose and were just another team and all that weve done over the last 11 weeks means jack ****.

This is the day folks. This is why we practice. This is why we play. This is why we dont spend mini-camp time doing ******y *** dances with hot chicks on TV. Its all on the line.

We find out so much about the HEART of this team today. We find out what were all about. We find out if we are a bunch of losers, a bunch of pretenders, or if were REAL. We find out if we have more JTs to get rid of, or if this team has what it takes. LETS GO!!!!!!!!!

Right and wrong

You are right that win or lose the Dolphins have still accomplished a lot this season and are no longer the league laughingstock.
But you are wrong that a win makes us legit and that a loss makes us irrelivant and just another team. There are still 5 games that remain after today. Win them all and we are still a playoff team at 11-5 even with a loss today. But lose several of them and we still miss the playoffs at 9-7 or perhaps 10-6 even after winning today.
What I'm saying is, while this game is huge, there is still a third of the season to be played. My personal goals for the team are 1) have a non-losing season of 8-8 or better (I'd be happy), 2) win enough games to make the playoffs (I'd be very happy), 3) win our division and/or advance past the first round of the playoffs (I'd be estatic), 4) play in the super bowl (you may have to revive me - I'd be hyperventilating), 5) win the super bowl (while I don't think playing in or winning the Super Bowl is likely this year I think it will happen soon).
