I would like to officially retract any statement I made that implied the Dolphins were underrated, would surprise some teams, or win more than 8 games. The way the offense looked tonight, we'd be lucky to win 1. Our defense was stout as ususal, but how long can they hold up? I say we use this season as an extended preseason. Play Sage with the first team, then rotate Jay and AJ with the backups. Everyone gets PT, and maybe we get a better gauge of our needs for next year. Besides, how much worse can it get? Tonight was embarassing to our team and to us fans.

errrr. I'll give up all hope around week 6 or 7 if we are still losing.
It was only the second game.

retraction accepted...

Tar Heel...

I'm not sure they need to tank it...with that offense...they might be able to sabotage just about anything...

I still can't understand how Cincinnati actually won that game...

Jumping off the bandwagon already? Remember this is the NFL and ANYTHING can happen...lets not forget about our old friends the New England Patriots and how much they sucked just 3 years ago...started off 0-2, had their best player go down with a major injury and looked like they were gonna have another miserable season in the cellar of the AFC East...then they won the Super Bowl. I'm not saying that this or anything close to this will happen and I don't think it will, just don't forget that it CAN happen...

Pitt, the Jets, and New England: not a chance the way we've played the last two weeks.

Buffalo: we have half a chance here

St. Louis and the Jets: don't see it.

Arizona: here's a win...maybe.

Bye week: New Coach time.

Seattle: nope

San Fran: If I could bet on our one win, this is it.

Buffalo: no way we win both.

Denver and New England: teams gearing up for playoffs, we're fodder.

Cleveland and Baltimore: Defensive struggles that could go either way.

Best case scenario: 5-11

I would be less worried about the jets and more worried about buffalo.
Any team with a defense will give us trouble. although if we fix the oline we would be in good shape. An action that is not so easiy to execute unfortunatly.

You guys have got to be kidding me. Some dolphin fans have got to be the worst. Its clear that our problem is the line. They are young it takes time to come together. Wade Smith was one of biggest problems and when McIntosh comes back which will be soon that will fix the left tackle. I mean it is gonna take a little time for the QB and RB and WR to get on the same page. Yes A.J has been here through training camp and preseason but it will take a little more time than that. Our defense is playing strong. Despite the pick by A.J ran back for the TD the offense put us in the position to win the game and we fell short. Guys look at the big picture. T BO = OUT, Surtain = OUT, Howard = OUT, and our defense didn't give up a TD. It will only get better it can't get any worse. Our arch rivals started out 0-2 and won the superbowl.

No, I'll always be a Dolphins fan no matter how bad they suck. I'll wear my JT jersey with pride everywhere I go. I just think that it's time to face reality. Wannstedt has run this team into the ground. Unfortunately, I don't think our O-line will be ready to play effectively until late in the season, and that's our biggest weakness. What could have been?

Wannsted is no Bill Belnichick....I need some of what you're smokin! FORGET IT...there is a thin line between optimisism and insanity...and you're straddling it if you think this team could end up like the PATS.

Now that's REALISTIC!

Yo, you and all your prayers aren't going to get the Dolphins in the playoffs. Look, the sooner all you insane optimists realize that this team is going NOWHERE...the sooner you will enjoy the season ahead of you...because if you don't..stay tuned..they will disappoint you in the end.

Read the post before you're so quick to criticize...maybe if we had Bill Belnichick we'd be good...and I'm perfectly happy being an optimisisist by the way.
