I dont know how many of you people get The Sporting News weekly mag. They did a piece in the September 2, 2005 weekly, about NFL stadiums and how they ranked.

They ranked the stadiums based on 6 catagories.

1) Architectural
2) Energy level
3) Sense of History
4) Location
5) Condition
6) Game-day experience

Dolphins Stadium got a 3 , 6, 2, 4, 4, and a 6 for a total of 25. We ranked 23rd respectively among the other stadiums.

1-23 are as follows.

1)Qwest Field (Seahawks)
2)Raymond James Stadium (Tampa Bay)
3)Reliant Stadium (Houston)
4)Ford Field (Detroit)
5)Cleveland Browns Stadium
6)Lambeau Field
7)Heinz Field
8)Lincoln Financial Field
9)Bank of America Stadium (Carolina)
10)Paul Brown Stadium (Cincinnati)
11)Gillette Stadium
12)M&T Bak Stadium (Baltimore)
13)Arrowhead Stadium
14)Invesco Field (Denver)
15)Texas Staium (Dallas)
16)The Colliseum (Tennessee)
17)Soldier Field
18)SunDevil Stadium
19)Louisiana Superdome
20)ALLTEL Stadium
21)RCA Dome
22)Giants Stadium
23)Dolphins Stadium
24)Ralp Wilson Stadium
25)Edward Jones Dome
26)FedEx Field
27)Metrodome
28)Qualcomm Stadium
29)McAfee Coliseum
30)Monster Park
31)Georgia Dome

Jets/Giants share same stadium, so only 31 stadiums ranked.

Qwest Field, which scored tops of 52, had 10,5,7,10,10,10 for its scores. Just thought I would share, because these are the people that actually rank your teams, and other teams, and draftees, and FA's that you take on their words of praise or demise for a player/coach/team.

All I can say is, having that perfect season, only gets us a 2 for a sense of history in our stadium? We are the only undefeated team in history in the NFL. The stadium is roughly 20 years old, I guess its falling apart. We only received a 4 for its condition. Time to build a new stadium. ROFLMAO!

Sun Devil Stadium???.......

That place is wose than the Orange Bowl!!!....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Tell me about it, I lived in AZ for a couple years. I know what it looks like and where its at. Like I said, it's all biased. I have never been to Dolphins Stadium, but it has to be better then SunDevil Stadium.

Somebody posted a link to the website that showed the rankings last week, but thanks for the effort :)

Raymond James stadium that high because of their lame pirate ship? Arrowhead should be much higher than many of these stadiums. Lincoln Financial field is kind of low....So is Fed-Ex field.....

The undefeated season was done in the Orange Bowl. Does that count against Pro-play...er... Joe Robb...um...Dolphins stadium?

I don't agree with all of the ratings but...

I think the assesment of Dolphin's stadium is fair. Our history is in the Orange Bowl not Dolphin Stadium. You can make an argument for JRS, Quite frankly though when they changed the name from Joe Robbie Stadium, that alone disgraced the great Marino/shula/duper/clayton history.

South florida is a hotbed for transplants from around the country especially the Northeast, So I wouldn't call DS an overwelming dominant stadium with hometfield advantage (aside from the heat) like you'd get in Arrowhead or Philly with a see or red or green.

The view of Riverfront/Cherry Bay town homes,Rolling Oaks and the Fl. turnpike isn't captivating at all.

The bleacher seats in the heat suck, and the infield dirt has proved to be more of a hinderance than an advantage.

But all in all I love the DS and will go to as many games as possible and enjoy my sh$$ty seats in the blazin heat rooting for my team.

One thing I don't need is an biased or unbiased person to validate my experience as a fan or my teams stadium. It's my second home :D
