last year and maybe that year should have been this year. I am beginning to agree with those who say last year was an aberration. I am beginning to see that. I hate to say it, but I don't see a streak like last year and I think Miami could be out of the playoffs as early as the second game of the second half of the season. That simple.

Lee2000 (Saban is going to get to taste a losing season this year; I hope he learns from it and hates it with a passion)

It's never over until it's over, but things are looking very bleak. 1-5 with 3 division losses is a huge hole. I don't think that this team's record is reflective of of their play, but there is no denying that we aren't very good.

It's only October, and football may not be relevant for another 10 months.....SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just want them to play hard like last year, i cant get used to losing but this is the way it has to be until they get more stable with the QB

Well said, and the best way I see this team getting better Qb play is if the O-line continues to improve.

I think we agree. We aren't very good. There's no denying it.
I don't think this team will make the playoffs -I see us finishing with a 6-10 record, but there is still a possibility, however remote it may be.

"reflective of our play" what the heck, we've played 3 of the worst defenses in the league and scored 38 pts . the d couldn't get off the field on 3 rd down against below avg offenses. we score against soft defenses in the 4 th quarter and their is optimism.

Don't fret guys. We can still win 9 in a row and make it to the playoffs.

Anyone else want to try some of these "pep" pills?

I agree. I'm not saying that is is likely we will og to the playoffs, but the fact is the possibility still exists. It's not likely that the team will win their next 10, but if they do, the team would go to the playoffs.
Listen, I'll be the first to admit that the team has played poorly, and it has not met my expectations, but I don't think they are as bad as their record indicates. They have played fairly well the last two weeks, good enough to win, but they haven't capitalised. I am optimistic that the team is showing more fight and character than they did in the first 4 (especially the 2nd, 3rd, and fourth games).
Do I think they are going to make the playoffs? No. I see them finishing at around 6-10
