This is the most heart breaking loss....

This has been the motto of the season. We could have won more, we should have won more. I'll still put the Bills game as the most disappointing loss. We were the better team and simply got outplayed. The Saints and Colts games were our youth showing.

The talent is there, it just needs to be more consistent. This team rebounds extremely well and I'm hoping for a big win vs the Texans.

The Phins simply isn't where we need to be. We had a tough schedule. We deserve to be where we are. Every teams holds their on destiny. Win and you're in.

we haven't.. So we deserve to be where we are.

Im happy to finsish in the playoff conversation late December. But if we don't make it.. if we finish .500 I'd be happy.

We're still rebuilding. Pieces have to be added.

Nah.. The Colts loss was much more heartbreaking.

When you control the ball for over 45 minutes and still lose, on national tv, it's very embarrassing.

I think the Dolphins are the only team in the NFL that can have the ball for over 45 minutes and still find a way to lose.

The Dolphins are the first NFL team to loose after have the ball for 45 minutes. It all comes down to our safety play IMO.

Agreed 100%. This statement is hard to swallow but -- we are right on schedule. Last year was amazing but it also put a lot of false hope out there. A lot of our players had career years and, unfortunately, reality set in.

We are not far off. With the hardest schedule in the NFL coming into the season. We have been very competitive and shown great depth by playing through a plethora of injuries.

For some strange reason I have defended Bell and Wilson all year. Two rookie cornerbacks and the crap tackling displayed all season by our linebackers have put a tremendous amount of pressure on them. They obviously our not our strong point but with the current team we would need Reed and Polamalu.

Is there another playoff quality team where their two safties not only lead the team in tackles, but lead by 30+ each?

Heartbreaking losses don't align with a team that isn't legitimate. We don't pass well and can't stop the pass. That equates to a -1.9 YPPA Differential, near the bottom of the league.

It was actually an excellent effort today. Every major situational trend favored the Titans. That's why the game was bet up to Tennessee -5 once Young was confirmed to start. Vulnerable teams on the road after a road win typically flop.

Games like this are the reason I switched to first half betting many years ago. The second half continues to be a circus, as evidenced by many games today. Think about it, virtually every play that earns a, "Can you believe that?" happens in the second half.

A heartbreaking loss was '74 playoffs at Oakland. This was merely a flawed team logically exposed.

i have been through worse after 37 years of being a fan, the sandiego overtime playoff loss was worse, because the phins were setting up to win with a field goal chip shot and it was blocked by kellen winslow

this loss wasn't that heartbreaking to me . . . Indy, New Orleans and Buffalo were worse.

i feel like just when we think we have suffered the biggest heartbreaking loss, we always surpass it the following week.

You haven't been a fan long enough. You're only 19 years old.

Try being a fan since 1980.

You wanna talk about disappointments??

I would need to start 200 threads to begin.. Let's start with Kim Bokamper dropping an easy interception that would have won us a super bowl.
