Why was Travis Daniels covering Eric Moulds? Why wasnt Madison on him? You'd figure would put his best guy on him. Other than that TD by Moulds, Daniels didnt do that bad, he had a sub par game yardage wise but he shouldnt let the opponent get way with a big play like that!. Oh well, I'm sure he will learn and improve.

Watch the play, it was not Daniels fault, the saftey (could not get his number) bit on a fake run and ran right past Moulds. The saftey was the blame on that, or at least that's how it looked to me!

look at the int gus had he has to be smarter he killed us just like jay the D played good enough to win in spite all the flags

Well the one in the end zone, yes, Chambers should have caught the other ball, he did not come back like Wr's are taught and let the guy step right in front! The Defense killed us all game with stupid pens! They are just as much to blame.

After reading that a few times, I guess you're right. Gus's int's did hurt, especially the one in the endzone, but they didn't end up giving them any points. The fumble by Ronnie at the end hurt worse though..

It's kind of what Saban was saying in his press conference when asked about John Denny's bad snap...and about choosing Denny over Ed Perry. Rookies make rookie mistakes but in the long run it will benefit the team. We have to be willing to let these guys learn on the job if we want them to improve at a faster pace. I know everybody wants to win every game but we've got to let Travis get his feet wet now so we'll know what he can do in the future when it's time to analyze the draft and free agency.

That's a great post. Rookies will make mistakes! It's an important stage of the learning career. The important thing is fixing those mistakes and never make the same mistake twice.
