I live just above Charlotte NC and was so happy last week to find out they were showing the Fins/Chargers game on local TV here. I didn't have to go some where to watch the game I could grill out at home and enjoy the game. So I look at the schedule this week and was happy to see there were really no good 1pm match ups that could keep them from putting up the Fins/Lions game. So this morning I turn on the TV and scroll over to 1pm Sunday to make sure I am getting to watch my Fins again only to find out they are showing the Jets/Pitt game.

This is absolutely absurd. They are showing a team that is 1-8 that has no fans in the area vs pitt, when they could show a good game between two teams in the middle of a playoff chase. This makes no sense to me. I mean is there goal to get as low ratings as possible? This is insane.

I live in Huntersville. I have Sunday Ticket for this very reason.
 
i had to be out of town last sunday so couldnt go to the game..watching it in a sports bar a blurb suddenly appears that CBS is changing the game to a 'more competitive' one....the JETS! how could they do that?? i

Welcome to my world, because I live in Jersey, I get the great honor of seeing the Jets every week. Sorry to hear you have to deal with that this week down there.
 
i get the skins every week so i dont want to hear anyone moaning
 
No one gives a **** about the jets other than their terrible defensive backfield. And that's the attraction: will Ben exploit them for another 6 or maybe even the iconic 7 TDs ?

Yes there are. I know quite a bit of Steeler fans just an hour and a half north of Charlotte.

But that's why I've got Sunday Ticket...so I don't have to depend on scheduling lol.

Washington has the biggest fan base in that area outside of the Panthers. I never noticed a ton of Steelers fans

This is why, when I lived on Charlotte (University), that I always went to Boardwalk Billy's for the games.
 
I get the Jags every week how sad. Luckily I just switched to Direct TV. Free first year of the nfl package
 
What i find funny is they havent had any london games on but this week they show cowboys and jags rather than fins and lions. Maybe they think it wont be competitive and fins will win big.
