All morning everyone is reading JT to have a press conference to demand a trade, and what did we get NOTHING!!!!! Sometime you just have to come to the conclusion the media just loves drama it's there job to do that. I will not believe anything I read abut the JT situation anymore, I will just wait until july to find out the truth.

Of course, its obvious isnt it? Its always the media starting something, and then once facts come out, then they turn it around again.

Supposedly, 5 teams are interested in JT, well anyone is interested in JT as long as they can rip off the lowly Dolphins one more time!

Homey dont play that! THANK GOD FOR BILL PARCELLS!

The media is all about infotainment nowadays for ratings to make more money. They either purposely ignore real news out of corporate interests or are afraid to look bad reporting news that might seem unpopular and not get the maximum sponsers they could.

In short, the media are all lapdogs too scared to do their damn jobs.

You are so right!!! Until we understand what they are trying to do,they will always control our opinions on eveything.http://djteknision.podOmatic.com

i say we hold the media accountable and file a libel lawsuit against these fools and dig into their pocketbooks a little and this will get cleaned up.

I work at a TV station (behind the scenes stuff) and I fully 100% endorse this post.

All this hoopla as be pure speculation from day one. even this so called rift between parcells and taylor. Neither man has said anything about the other. Parcells is far to smart to play his cards in the media.. Im surprised the media isnt savvy to this by now.. IDIOTS.. Kudos to Taylor as well. with all the coverage on his his STILL continues to do and say the right things in the public domain. Some may not like his dancing, but there are other NFLer's who are getting into trouble, and slacking..

The media has entirely created this crap. Now they all look like idiots. It's time to stop. Sorry there isnt a big juicy story for them, but I for one am glad there isnt one.

THIS JUST IN

according to THE MEDIA John Beck is ON HIS WAY OUT!!1

You see, they drafted a QB in the second round and they have a proven winner in McCown. Clearly Beck is NOT IN THE PLANS FOR THE DOLPHINS

I concur with the assertion stating the media concocted this entire controversy. I wish the FO and JT would stand together in calling the media out on this issue. Unfortunately, the media wields too much power in swaying the American public (in essence, sheep) on matters ranging from sports to presidential elections. There is no such thing as journalistic objectivity in today's society. It's too bad more journalists are not held accountable for their actions. Just my $.02.

Regardless of what was reported, who said what,....blah blah blah, the fact remains that JT is the only Dolphin player not at the OTA's, and up coming camps. He is completely in the wrong here, no if ands or buts. We are coming off of a 1-15 season and trying to completely change the environment. The face of our franchise not being here, infact the only one not here is complete selfish BS! He said "He loves this place" , but everything he has done screams me, me ,me! I am not a JT basher, and I appreciate everything he has done in the past. In this instance, he is totally in the wrong, and leaving the team and us fans hanging!

Gee, I hope Taylor can make some time in his busy schedule for us lowly Dolphins.

Get a Grip

Get a grip, Dude.

He's missed OTA's before in his career and no one called him "in the wrong" when he did that.

He had a conversation with Mueller after the season saying that if it was in the best interest of the team, then he would open to a trade. Then in December he signs up for DANCING WITH THE STARS and informs Mueller. 13 days later Parcells is hired and 2 weeks after, Cameron and Mueller are gone.

Jason Taylor is COMMITTED to doing Dancing With The Stars, he's signed a contract and given his word. He's told by the team that Mueller briefed Parcells on his desires and he doesn't worry about it and continues to prepare for a competition he's never done before.

Then the talking starts and if you recall, it started with Parcells speaking with Peter King and him saying "Jason Taylor will either play for the Miami Dolphins or retire". At that point, Jason had never said anything about retirement in 2008. Yes, he briefly considered it in 2006-2007 but he was committed to one more year from the end of last season.

Parcells puts out the retirement talk and with that, kills the real interest from teams about trading for JT. He could have said to Peter King "Jason Taylor wants to play for 3 or 4 more years and it is our intention that he finish his career as a Miami Dolphin" and then watch out, the trade offers would have come fast and furious.

But Parcells KILLED JT's trade value HIMSELF. Either via incompetence or malice, but either way, the facts are undeniable.

So Jason holds a press conference and explains where he's at. Basically, if the Dolphins can't get value and trade him that he will be indeed a Miami Dolphin. Now the important thing to see here is how PARCELLS treats Taylor once July comes around. Because he may instruct SPARANO to disrespect Taylor by assiging him to the third squad, etc in order to entice Taylor to retire and call it a career.

Why?

Because Parcells is a giant, tub of lard teenager, that's why. There has NEVER been a pettier man than Bill Parcells in the history of sports. He's a little boy and he NEEDS to get his way.

If the Dolphins were smart, they'd deal JT to DALLAS and allow Zach and JT to reunite for one final push for the ring TOGETHER. It would be a great story and it would actually generate good feelings for the Dolphin front office, who up to now have been seen as myopic and small minded in their dealings with Taylor.

But, I think that no trade will happen and that Parcells will try and make an example out of Taylor by squeezing him in camp.

Then JT will decide what to do.

But don't blame a great player who's been here for 11 years giving his heart and soul for the team for wanting to go out a winner. Blame a front office that's been here 15 minutes and decided that DISRESPECTING team leaders is the BEST way to SHAKE UP a losing organization. They are trying to send a message and unfortunately, the message we're getting is NOT the one they intended.

For while they are saying THINGS HAVE CHANGED, IT'S OUR WAY OR THE HIGHWAY we are clearly receiving WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DO OUR JOBS.

And THAT'S the truth.

GO PHINS!!

Maybe Parcells really wants Taylor to be a part of this team and the only way he would trade him would be for a first round pick so he can be replaced. When your 1-15 why would this FO come in a listen to anyone. When JT shows up and proves hes the best player on the field there will be a love feast between him, FO and the fans. If he comes back and is not the best player on the field this conversation will get uglier.
