This is what a WR playmaker does and why Miami need's one badly. Many here where against a supposed trade for Marshall (a couple of threads came up about it), but I would trade Ginn and a couple of non first round picks for him in a heartbeat...

could ginn even make the catch? let alone the run after? when has ginn made a game changing play like that???

TD against seattle last year...End around against the chiefs last year...his game against the jets of course last year...

this year? not so much, but it's all good after a win

Marshall might be the best wr in the NFL after the catch. He's like a runningback when he gets the ball.

you mean his first quarter td against seattle? or against the chiefs??? or his 2nd quarter td against the jets???

when was the game on the line in these situations???

you really think he is a playmaker???

If he would of caught that ball, a big if, he probably would of immediately gone down to prevent getting hit...

Marshall has all the talent to be one of the best receivers in the league. Was listening to Troy Aikman talk about him yesterday and he said when he was at the Broncos training facility on Friday he said he never seen a WR train harder, apart from Michael Irvin. All accounts coming from Denver suggest that since his little tiff in TC a month ago, he has been very professional on and off the field.

Take that for what its worth, I personally dont think a month of good behaviour is enough to write off the ****e he has done in the past, but he is on the right track. If you could be certain that he has turned a corner, then I would have no problem with the Fins going after him. But as of yet, I'm not convinced.

IF not him , then someone else but the fins need a real #1. And I dont think the draft is the way to go, unless off course there are no other trade possibilities...

The question is whether or not that would be enough to get the deal done.

The Draft is always the way to go. Just take a look at some of the WR talent that will be out there in the 2010 Draft.

Would have been nice to get Brandon Marshall 2 months ago when he wanted out....

imagine Henne to Marshall =(

Arrelious Benn.

You know...I have been on Arrelious' bandwagon because of his size and explosiveness...that and the fact that the Illinois coaching staff is clueless and don't use him near as much as they should (just the Juice Williams running show...) But...I have seen Benn drop a couple the last couple weeks and fumble a punt return. My enthusiasm with him is dropping...

Starting to tends towards Dez Bryant and Decker from Minnesota. Decker may not be a true #1 because I am not sure how fast he is...but he catches everything and is big...he would be a great red zone threat and he can block.
