this just in on Yahoo...Predictions

Wait a minute, this is the same guy who a month ago picked us second.

I wonder if Nick Saban called him and made him cry or something???

I still think we end with a winning record. We aren't a major drop off what won us 10 games 2 years ago, I actually think we're better then that team (coaching, OC, defense, etc)

13-3 or 12-4. That should be our record next year. I think the teams on our schedule are a little overated and we are underated. We have the advantage

Even better question, since when is Mario Edwards in the running for the No. 2 corner spot?

Travis Daniels wasn't even mentioned as a competitor for the No. 2 corner spot and he is the one that has been playing the majority of the time accross Sam Madison.

If I were to bet money I would bet on 6-10
Dude that is really lame. I started a thread called "Miami fans are either Crazy Dumb or Drunk" and it stated that I think we should be thrilled with a 6-10 and you were definitely one the guys railing me for it. "Lack of faith"..."get your negativity out of here"...I heard it all, and now you are sneaking away like a call girl at 3am and saying...If i were betting money then it would be for 6-10. That's so rich. So rich.

I railed on you for being a jerk to people who want to be opitmistic. I don't understand why people waste their time trying to convince people to be more pessimistic. Basically I think you are the type of guy to go up to kids and tell them "there is no santa clause" for their own good.

I agree entirely. Nick Saban is obviously thinking with our mindset also or else he wouldn't have signed Vonnie Holliday, Kevin Carter, Lance Schulters, etc. All of those players are age 30 and up (Holliday turns 30 in a few months).

Despite what most people think, we are not in a rebuilding stage. If we were in a rebuilding stage Saban would be completely revamping our Defense with young, fresh talent. Not Veterans.

This team I think is better then that team of 2 years ago. We're much better on offense. Our defense may be a notch lower because of the major losses to our secondary, but if Saban uses the right blitz schemes with the players we have on our Defensive line and at Linebacker, we should be able to get enough pressure on the Quarterback to make our secondary look better than it is.

Realistically, barring injuries, with the team we have now we could very well go 10-6, 9-7 being more likely. If anybody Bills/Jets/Patriots fans would like to place a wager on my statement, I'm open to it.
