i dont know how many time b4 he learns that on 4th and 1 and 4th and half an inch like weve had, THAT U HAVE TO GO FOR IT, this is not a team that can constantly keep punting the ball away and depending on its defense to b out on the field stopping the offense every other minute, there tired and not that talented of a defense, and the to get momentum on offense you need to get 1st downs, there is gona b no confidence if everytime you get a 4th and 1 ur coach is basically telling u i dont believe u guys can get one yard. WE HAVE RONNIE BROWN FOR GOD SAKES, WE DRAFTED JAKE THE BEAST LONG EVEN IF HE CANT HOLD HIS BLOCK HE CAN STILL PUSH HIS MAN BACK FOR ONE FRIGGING YARD TO LET RONNIE THE BEST GET ONE FRIGGEN YARD, its pathetic where are sparanos bal*s, if it was last years team id agree we shud punt but when u have a healthy ronnie brown who just tore up the patriots and chargers defense against a mediocre at best texans defense u give him the firgging ball, and everyone needs to hop off ginns back if sparano isnt giving him a chance to have the ball in his hands, how do u expect him to make play. and dont even try and say they try and get him the ball like today with the 2 little quick outs where the corner is watching every second and sees it coming and by the time the ball gets to ginn theres sum1 right in his face, they need to once a game send ginn streaking down field and have pennington throw it up early if ginn burns by the defense his best attribute is his speed and its not being utilized so what do u expect

Some of his short yardage calls baffle me. They'll often be passes and i just don't understand how you can do that with Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams on the team. But i can't say he cost us this game today, not with the way this defense played. I don't know how they looked so good against New England and San Diego, but they have a long way to go, at least in the secondary.

completely agree..way too many punts, fields isnt that good

There are a lot of reasons we lost, but I choose to just give credit to AJ, who was amazing today. He seems to "want it" more than our DB's when it mattered.

We were lucky to even have the ball to score a TD at the end anyway...

On some level every loss falls at his feet.

Nonetheless, I agree, 4 and inches against a team that has given up 4/5 4th down plays? Thought we should have gone for it.

Still, I am glad we have him. This team is much improved although I was not shocked by AJ's performance against our secondary.

got to take them one at a time guys, growth is hard in this league, how do they respond the next three weeks,

The forth and half an inch beggining the 3rd quarter was the WORST! It was literally less than an inch, do we have qb sneak in our revolutionary offensive schemes?????

I think the first punt with 4th and 1 inside your own territory, was the right decision. However punting with the 4th and inches right after challenging the spot and losing, was a bad decision.Especially taking into account that your defense was getting their butts beat pretty much all game.

Despite those decisions, most of the blame for this loss falls squarely on the shoulders of Paul Pasqualoni and his defense. Some of the guys like Porter, Crowder, and Merling played well, but once again the guys in the secondary were exposed.

The new front office concentrated of the lines this past offseason, now after this season it will be time to address the Secondary and WR positions.Sorry Teddy, you've been given a shot but obviously are not getting it done.

It really ticks me off watching Andre Johnson making the Phins defense look stupid, then looking over at our Phins team and our top receiver, who they spent a top 10 pick on,doing his best Houdini impression.

did u not pay attention towhat i said, how can u expect him to make plays wen he gets the ball thrown to him twice on a 1 yard out play that they expect ginn to just teleport away from the defender that is directly in his face you need to go down the field and see what happens or over the middle, hes proven he can catch the ball wen thrown t last week so stop blaming him and tell sparano to put him back on returns to give him some confidence with the ball and design some plays that cant b spotted by a 7year old cover corner

I think it really boils down to having a feel for how the game is progressing. I don't blame Sparano for not going for it early in the game on the 4th and inch but he blew it by not challenging the spot. There was a good chance the ball would've been moved forward.

He also made a poor decsion in challenging that one call. It was clear from the repaly that there wasn't enough evidence to respot the ball.

Really, the biggest beef I had with him is not going for it on the 4th down in the 3rd quarter when we were near the 50 yard line. It was clear by that point that the defense was not going to have a good day and you have to start gamblng a little on offense.

I didnt have a problem with him punting at all,I just had a problem with some situational play calls that were VERY,VERY questionable.Like,I remember on like 3rd and 10,I was expecting a 10-15 yard pass, and Pennington dumps it to Fasano that ended up being a pick, when in that situation give it to Camarillo, hes the most sure handed guy out there. Also with like 5 mins. left in the game,Sparano calls liek what...4-5 run plays???? Yours trying to WIN the game Sparano, trying to WIN the game. But I dont agree with you sayign its Sparanos fault, maybe part of it,but the defense definately lose the game for the Phins, the only good they done was in the first quater, after that, they were just beat, play in and play out.Miamis offense(doesnt happen or at least not often) gave MIA a chance to win the game, but the defense(for the first time it seems) lost the game for us....

I didn't like this game going in and this just proves it. 4 losses by the Dolphins by 9 points in 4 different years to this Houston Texans franchise.

Well until we get a coach or a Qb that has confidence that Ted can get open and get the ball. He is going to look pretty useless. And right now I am not so sure a different Qb is going to make Teddy look any better. He just doesn't create enough separation to get open. And as far as putting him in on special teams. I agree with what Sporano is doing with him. Until he can prove otherwise.
