I loved having Welker and after losing him I was very angry. (Partly because I bought his jersey the season before.) I remember watching the Colts and Patriots game with my father and we heard Welker say something. We thought we were hearing things but he has a DVR so we ran it back and we heard it again. Not sure if this has been posted, but it makes losing Welker a little bit easier on me. I did not put this on Youtube but I was very glad I found it. Listen about 13 seconds into it... enjoy!

I remember when Wes was so nice to my family. He took photos with us and signed my football. That was back in 2004 when I was the only one who knew his name. I can't believe I wasted $80 bucks on his jersey. Hopefully I can sell my autographs to get some of the money back.

Yea, I loved Welker. I guess the Pats "Humble Pie" corrupts.. lol I use to think he was a very classy guy though...

thats why Jordy Nelson can fill his shoes, without the taunting and language!!!

I remember seeing this back when it happened.

Wes is a unintelligent, pompous *** hole who is a good receiver that looks great simply because he's the beneficiary of amazing talent surrounding him. There are at least 50 receivers in football that are better then he is.

As for losing Welker, Samson Satele and Ted Ginn soothed my sorrows (or lack there of I suppose) of losing Wes Punker.

When Brady, Belichick and some of that OL retires, and Moss and/Stallworth are gone, it'll be funny seeing the Pats try to base their offense around Wessy.

Watching a rookie C start all 16 games for us, took the pain away from losing Welker. Take away Brady, Moss, and Stallworth, Welker is pretty much average.

I cant wait for Brady or Belichek to retire. I just keep thinking to myself. They cant do this forever, things will turn for us and for them.

im not a welker backer, but im sure he talked trash like that when we had him. oh well, **** wes welker

exactly. if moss leaves he'll return to the "fiery, tough nosed" slot wr that he is. he is way overrated. i hate the way he takes a nose dive everytime he catches the ball. i wanted nothing more than to see antonio peirce take his head off on one of those slants he runs. i mean off brother.

Greg Camarillo is our new Wes.

I think he's got the potential to be just like Wes did...only I think Camarillo is a little faster. He's not as quick-footed, but then neither was Wes when he was a young player either. With the right WR coach, he can learn.

Why so much animosity against Welker? The guy was our best player in 2006 and played his heart out in every game for the Phins. I'm not sure what the point of this thread is...? You don't like him because he talks trash? Obviously you've never played in any sort of organized sport because there is ALWAYS trash talk. I love to see it come from a guy who's 5'9 180, especially.

It was OUR decision to trade him to a division rival, not his. He had no voice in where he was going... yet people think he's a traitor.

Players talk smack, Joey Porter probably says things even worse. i'm not defending him, but for all we know he was taunted the whole game prior and after that catch he was pumped, happens all the time.
