This made me feel better About Gase

I also like that his background includes coaching under Nick Saban. I know Dolphin fans, in general, dislike Saban but he's a heck of a coach who always puts physical teams together on both sides of the ball.

My hope is that Adam Gase will bring some of the same qualities. Looking at Miami this team is still in need of foundation players on the offensive and defensive lines. That may be the primary reason the team is battling to get over .500.

Hey look...clearly Saban is a great coach.... He just weazled out of the pros and handled leaving Miami the wrong way.

I'm sure even he himself wishes he would have handled it differently. . Would have drafted Aaron Rodgers versus Ronnie Brown...would have chosen Drew Brees versus Daunte Culpepper...but he didn't...he failed...and bailed out...just like JJ!

Give me action of words.

Well unfortunely it's going to be a while until we actually see how he and his staff perform on the filed, until then we just have anticipation, words and opinions from people who know him or played for him.

Yep. I'm not buying it until I see results. I am done getting duped by words about the Dolphins and the potential they may or may not have.

Sounds like Gase isn't afraid to yell, holds players accountable and drops some "f" bombs. Again, the anti Philbin.

LOL I hope Gase is fiery guy that can motivate the players but does he really need to drop an "F" bomb to be a leader? History proves otherwise. Some leaders are this kind of coach and some aren't.

Regarding "The Gase Effect" on talented underperforming QBs, I just posted this in the Jennings baby bottle thread

So I was watching Mike&Mike yesterday. They had Chicagoan Vince Vaughn on to promote his 30/30 that debuted last night. Big Bears fans and even he was specifically lamenting the departure of Gase who did wonders with Cutler and hoping that Jay wouldn't now regress. Hell, even busy fans could see the differences that Gase made in Cutler!
