You can say that about any player in football, pro or college. As long as he can stay healthy! Fins up
For sure - specifically for guys with injury history. Not trying to be negative just hoping for the bestYou can say that about any player in football, pro or college.
Sieler is our best inside pass rusher right now, it would be hard for me to sit him, I think you have to rotate the 3 DE’s and when it comes down to it play the hotter hand that gameThis was a good trade. Chubb is the real deal.
The most interesting question to me is how this is going to impact snap counts and alignments. If I were DC, and I decidedly am not, this would mean we play Raekwon and Roberts a lot less, and Ogbah inside much more.
My base package would put Sieler and Wilkins inside, with Chubb, Ogbah, and Phillips lined up at DE and OLB, and Baker as the off-ball ILB. Then I’d have X at CB1, Kohou at CB2, Crossen at nickel, and Holland and McKinley at safety.
On passing downs, I’d put Sieler on the bench, shift Ogbah to DT, and put AVG in as another edge.
I’d mix in Davis as a rotational NT, particularly if we’re struggling against the run. I’d also mix in Ingram as a rotational edge, and I’d split Baker’s snaps 60/40 with Duke Riley. Elandon Roberts would rarely touch the field. In the secondary, Rowe is the only guy I’d give snaps other than the starters. No Iggy ever.
I want to get after the passer. If it hurts our ability to stop the run, so be it. Enough Raekwon and Roberts.
Most likely this. Fresh pass rushers all game. Right now, Ogbah is injured, so his snaps should be reduced anyways.Sieler is our best inside pass rusher right now, it would be hard for me to sit him, I think you have to rotate the 3 DE’s and when it comes down to it play the hotter hand that game
That’s some elite company. I’d trade multiple 1s in a heartbeat for the two guys ahead of him. Think this is going to pay huge dividends for Jaelen Phillips more than anyone. I’m just excited for that as I am for Chubb.
Dude you’re COACH!!!! As long as you know what color uniform the players are gonna where when they ask your other knowledge has got her done!!!This was a good trade. Chubb is the real deal.
