Stupid tanking crap. I hate it as coach and as a fan. NEVER!

Really good teams drafting QBs even thow they had a frachise QBs is the way to go, Drew Bledsoe, Brett Farve and then the Pack did it again with Rodgers, all three were replaced with great QBs. This is something we need to do right now because of Tua's injury history, it is a must have. Greir overseeing our scooting for 20 years is a huge problem, but you all know I think he's a chump.
That idiot Grier has been in the building for 20 years+?

How does a guy survives so much team rebuilds without being accountable?

No need to tank if you're losing games like that Cardinals one. We're going to have a decent draft pick this year so may as well build in the trenches. O line as priority. Also if we can move players like hill move em. Oh and fire grier. Did I mention fire grier? We should totally fire grier.

We are organically tanking. This is a 5 win team at best my brother. There isn’t one game on the schedule that is a sure win.

No game is a sure win; unless you can show your team has had a perfect season!

Whoops, Foisted on my own petard. - LOL

Well, you were RONG about Tannehill as he showed well in Tennessee.
It comes as no surprise that you would be RONG about Tua, too!

😂😂

History denial is a delusional thing buddy.

This is nearly the same team from last year, especially the offense. The defense has taken some hits. IMO we had to do that because of the big contracts we are tied to. The offense is the issue. Tua did nothing in the first game and a half, now he returning form. He made a dumb, no stupid play where he got hurt. He had a chance or two to win the Cards game and he failed. You could say he cost us the game. I certainly do, but HE FAILED to win a crucial game. He just got a new BIG payday, he is now expected to win games like this. Grier has done a bad job of 'winning now' as injuries have crippled the franchise. McCoach is a bumbling boob, with his Capri pants, big watch, and his Club Med training camp bull sh*t. The lack of awareness in his field gamesmanship, clock management, and use of his weapons, and in-game adjustments is GLARING. I would fire his ass in 5 games so we can get a regular football coach in here to assemble and use the talent we already have. There is no reason this team is so f***ing miserable this year. Let me back up on that last statement, It's the f***ing coach.

Our only chance to tank is trading tua, and I don't see that happening. It's apparent that the O is a different caliber with him. Weaver is who needs to tighten up.
No team would touch Tua with a 10 ft pole unless Fins picked up majority of his contract.

You don't have to tank when you're bad, and it doesn't matter for us cause we're not a QB away. Qb is far from our biggest issue. We need to draft or sign a capable backup but Tua is good and we have him for this and next year at least. I don't know how we salvage this team honestly
You take a qb if you are in a spot to get one you are interested in.

You guys are crazy with tank talk. You should never want to lose. Ever.

We arent that bad. We were competitive all day yesterday, unlike the past 5 weeks. The game came down to a few plays and Tua looked sharp besides that safety.
I don’t get into the tank talk but you need to take off the blindfold because this team is awful.

And even if it was the team is bad enough that it probably WONT be necessary.
Tank if purposedly done should only be done next season IF and only if both Manning and malealeva come out.
The last season worth tanking of the last 15 years was the Andrew Luck season. Thats it.
Every other draft has been littered with overhyped overdrafted first round qbs and underscouted talents like mahomes and allen that end up being drafted without the necessity of a tank, just good scouting.
And when tua went down i was convinced tanking for ewers could be a good strat but he is as injury prone or even more than tua itself and also Tua insists on keep playing so we are in for another season of mediocre no man’s land qb play, so in my opinion, TANKING ON PURPOSE THIS PARTICULAR SEASON MAKES NO SENSE.
What should be done is fier Grier and firesale stocking on draft picks WITH GOOD SCOUTING
Ok, lets tell them to start winning.

Even when we tried to tank in 2019 we screwed it up by winning too many games, then telling our HC to lose games, thus costing us first and third round draft picks since he held a grudge after we fired him 2 years later and he turned snitch. We ended up with the QB we were tanking for but as it turned out there was a better QB in the draft who we missed out on.
I wouldn’t agree with saying we ended up with the QB we wanted. I know many who felt otherwise. I personally wanted someone else, but always try to support who we drafted up to a certain point.

But I do agree we tend to always screw up even our bad seasons due to one or two pointless extra wins

I meant we ended up with the QB we were tanking for. "Tank for Tua" sound familiar? Then Burrow had a season nobody saw coming and thats why he was the number 1 pick. Grier even tried to trade up for him by offering the Bengals our 3 first round picks for the number 1 pick but the Bengals refused.

We will probably mess this season up too by winning some games down the stretch causing us to move out of a top 10 draft pick.

Tank for Tua is what some didn’t like. Including me. But since we took him I was hoping he’d be the guy. I did want us to Suck for Luck, but that one didn’t go well due to a few meaningless wins.

Next time. 🤣
