I think its easy to throw stones at guys and magnify their shortcomings but we should not get it twisted that Brent Grimes is one of the best CB's in football. Imagine Grimes with a capable cornerback opposite of him + a legitimate starting free safety.

Grimes gives everything he has every game. He gets turnovers, he tackles on the run, and makes great hustle plays. Does he slip sometimes, yea. Does he get out muscled/height, yea. He's not perfect but the Dolphins are better with him than without.

As for Miko she's been built up by media for clicks and a lot of you have taken the bait. Who really cares what she says? I also blame Dolphins PR staff for a lot of this nonsense too. They need to be more proactive with media to help shift some focus. The fact that they let Brent Grimes get stampeded by media is awful.

if his wife causes or inflames locker room rifts, we are better off without

Good post. They don't want to hear you, though.

Because Miko talked bad about this teams precious mediocre quarterback, She's public enemy number 1 right now on Finheaven. And Brent, guilty by association, has to go down with her lol.

Not as the main guy at corner though and not at 8m

He's been on a steady decline since the end of last season. His head knows what needs to be done but his body can't catch up - why he's always slipping. He isn't worth close to what he'll cost next year so if he doesn't take a significant paycut the value isn't there. I don't see any possibility of him taking a cut (would you?) So he'll be playing elsewhere next year, and we'll be the better for it.

And that doesn't even take into account the whole crazy wife situation ... which I'm not touching with a ten foot pole

you cant have public internal rifts tearing the locker room apart....he has to go....good or not.

If you want to believe it or not this incident points to bigger issues with in the organization than just what it seems on the surface. It's the culture that was created that lead to the bullying scandal and now this. It's not about some foulmouthed skank ripping on a QB who won't be here after the 2016 season barring a miracle. It's about the whole organization and this is just the tip of the turd that's floating in the toilet. I've seen people who are not Tannehill fans take her to task for her antics. It's way deeper than that.

We are currently 5-10 with him...

After that interview he did with the DB's acting like lunatics...I'd take my chances without him and the drama.

No it is not, even if he gets a divorce...

Steady decline?

He struggled against Brandon Marshall, Sammy Watkins, and Odell Beckam this year. Outside of that where was he particularly bad? His numbers are on pace of where they were in his 2 pro bowl seasons. He got robbed of an INT last week with phantom call.

It's becoming more obvious who wears the pants (with the appropriate equipment) in that "family"
