If u listen to the interviews during the OTA'S, there is a common theme. Everybody seems to be competing at a high level and all the guys mention how hungry they are to not only make the playoffs but to also go much further than we went last season. This might be a 12 win team, i might sound like a homer but i have a gut feeling that we will be a force to reckon with this season....

I have the same feeling, the team looks like its finally going in the right direction. The players all look pumped and are working their butts off.
 
We had alot of close games last year that we won....some I think because we were tougher and more prepared for the long haul of the season than other teams. This team knows how important these days are now before camp starts. Winning the one on one matchups for his will be even more important this year.... competing against Moss/Welker/Galloway and Evans/T.Owens twice a year. We have to be better than last year.
I can't wait to see how well JT performs and hopefully shows up the way he did the year he won Def. Player of the year.

I hope your right.......depth will be the key, we will have injuries this yr, the key will be at what positions........
 
I could tell you, hey! every players on every team say that, its this time of year! But no my friend, I'm 110% with you on this one. But I but have a crystal ball in my possesion right now and I can see in the future. This thread will be met with criticism, sarcasm and probably some little bit of common sense as to why it wont happen...
 
I agree that outsiders will underestimate this team. I love the mix of veterans that are hungry to prove themselves (Green, Taylor, Grove, McDaniels, and Wilson) and of up and coming players like (Merling, Bess, Davis, and Turner). I love that Sparano believes he will have tough decisions at WR receiver and the secondary positions. I love that many of the players cut during the transition from 65 to 53 will make other teams.
 
I have high expectations for our team. I'm not ready to set goal in terms of record.

But, I just realized that it's been nearly 20 years since the Dolphins won 12 games during the regular season.

I agree it seems as if the competition will be tighter than its been in years at many pivotal positions. The CB and WR battles could not only yield some quality depth but a few superstars may emerge. Ginn is primed for that breakout year we have been waitin on!!!
 
Swagger. We've finally got that back. We're thin at some spots, but BP & co are quietly building a monster full of the right attitude.

WOW.

Also, I'm in my 30's and i only have memories of us losing Super Bowls.

MY expectations this year are the playoff's.WE got better in all are weak spot's.Lets' get it ON!!!:hump:

While I'm quietly optomistic, the one thing that's given me hope is Eric Green statement about the conditioning program and that he hasn't work that hard ever, and the fact that he's put on 10 lb's of muscle as a result. I just think our team may out muscle some this year..I think that's how Thomas got hurt lifting weight... If the talent shows up on this team, we may just be a sleeper again..

I have a feeling that because of the new coaches and FO, we have a much better opportunity to succeed than we did with Dumbstadt, Satan, and the Scamster. I like your enthusiasm, but with the toughest schedule in the league and alot of new players at a multitude of positions, it is going to be hard to top what we did last year(winning the AFCE). I am not saying it is not possible, but the road is lined with many more landmines than a year ago.:D
 
I dieing for the season to start. I think we are gonna be awesome. FInally we dont have a bunch of retards in our front office. Finally we dont have a coach with a stupid scarecrow hat, or one that doles out great pearls of wisdom like punting isn't a bad thing. Members of the house of robbie rejoice the tribe of shula will once again rule the land.
