Give DC a the boys a little time, this game got sloppy pon both sides of the ball and was as much the D's fault as anyones. But I'm not here to pass judgement, it's way too early. I will tell you that this is the first game in a long time that I could remember feel good about what I was seeing. In fact I looked at my son right after we took the lead in the third qtr and said "There is your new Dolphins, this is going to be a fun season". Yeah we kinda inploded but the tools are there and it will come together.

I am 100% confident in this team and I still think they will win the AFC East. The schedule is 16 games long, not 1. We should take no shame in losing at the home of the defending champs. We will be just fine and should still win about 11 games.

i agree wholeheartedly!!! It was only one game and after watching some of these other games today there certainly were teams that looked worse than us...i.e. the Panthers.

Question: Do you guys think the Phins need to get younger? are we an old team?

This is what sets the okay teams from the better teams. How do you over come adversity? Keep the faith. This may sound weird, but it maybe a good thing that we lost, to let reality hit home, it won't be a cake walk, and Nick showed he can still chew butt aka Lehan. This team will get it turned around quickly. Keep the Faith!:ffic:

Well, the AFC East run starts next week, and from what we all saw, Buffalo won't be a cakewalk. They gave the Pats everything the could handle. I think it will be Phins 24 Bills 20. Close game, but the Bills lose again. Hopefully Ronnie Brown will rush for 100+ yards so I can see a 1st round player doing his job instead of all the blame on the Oline. There's 11 guys on the field. It can't all be 10 other guys fault and Ronnie fly under the radar. THEY ALL LOST THE GAME.

Well I just saw an article where Nick said he is benching Ronnie Brown in favor of Travis Minor because he is convinced that Ronnie can't be a starter in this league. Maybe you had a strong influence on him.

I think you need to get off Ronnie's jock. It is true he did studer step quite a bit. To his credit he was trying to find holes that didn't open to well. That is why Jacox has been promoted in the Oline already. Ronnie will get better as will the Oline that needs some work, and toughness.

I agree, did not go with some that thought this was a must win game...

Also, am I wrong to say that an offensive player can run with the ball and stiff-arm the opponent by the facemask, but a defensive player cannot touch a face mask???

Bro I don't agree it was a must win game either. I think it was a great game to see what kind of Character we have on this team. It was an early test. With some adjustments on both sides of the ball, things will get a lot better!
