Just going through some old games on DVR and I came across last year's Steelers game. I started to think that it is a similar situation that we're in this weekend.

Cold weather. Both teams fighting for playoff spots. Dolphins the underdog. On the road in a tough environment. Need Tannehill to carry us more than ever.

Lets hope he comes through like he did last year. I BELIEVE! This was always circled as a loss and was the only game that legitimately scared me this season, but with each passing day, I BELIEVE. Say it with me Dolphin Nation. I BELIEVE!

On a side note, looking back at our team in that Steelers game last year, every single position is either an upgrade from last year or a push. Well done Hickey. That man deserves a round of applause.

No, no. no...no deja vue. New season. Let's not dig in the past. Only baaad memories. After Pittsburgh we won only one more game and tanked the season against two crappy teams. We are finishing up the season with two crappy teams again.

Memory wipe activated now.....

 Fair point.

Can that thing wipe out every season since say ...1995?

Nah, only everything beginning with and after the Jacksonville playoff massacre. I still enjoyed the hell out of the 1st round win at Seattle that year. Marino's last bit of magic in his pockett

Not to mention the stage 5 coronary event we all had when the steelers appeared to have won on a last second gimmick play.

this may sound funny, but I would rather face ol man manning than big ben rapeman.

Pittsburgh was not good last year. I felt really good going into that game like we should win. I think the spread was about even and we were on the road. This Denver game is totally different. We are over a TD road dog, and are missing players in the secondary where we need them the most vs their passing attack. Add to that they are playing at home after a loss and I have money on them covering -7.5

It is not the end of the world if we lose this game. With all the teams around us playing each other every week I think we get in at 10-6. We can lose at Denver and at NE, we just can't lose any of the others.

It won't be nearly as cold but don't forget 2008.

The high on Sunday in Denver is supposed to be 43 but what could really help the Fins is that they are predicting 20-30mph winds. Manning's floaters are going to have a tough time getting to where they need to be with wind like that where as it won't affect Tannehill's strong throws as much. This game could easily come down to who can run the ball better and who has the wind at their back in the 4th quarter.
