I know we have some extra picks. But what are our extra picks?

1,2,2-7 thats all i know... am i missing anything?

we have San Diego's 2nd and we don't have a 5th rounder (trade for trent green)
thats it so far

We wouldn't get a compensatory pick for Welker since we traded with New England. They didn't sign him as a restricted free agent.

no barber. possibly williams. more like fasano, spears, carpenter - something like that.

Roy Williams is HORRIBLE....and that's not my opinion, that's the opinion of the majority of Cowboy fans who watch him every game. No thanks.

As for the Welker-comensatory pick thing...the guy who mentioned that it was a trade was correct....but I would like to add that even if it wasn't a trade and they did sign him as a RFA....we would have received only the RFA compensation, and not a compensatory pick.

i see all these people hating on r williams on here all the time. hes not that bad. his negatives are he flakes on pass coverage sometimes and misses tackles because he tries to rip everyones head off. i still think hes a top 10-15 safety in this league. i am just worried about our safeties. bell, IMO, is awesome but mat have a hard time coming back from the injury. the jury is still out on allen, but i think he should do fine if we keep his scheme simple so he can actually learn how to succeed at 1 position. hill is nothing more than a backup - and hes gettting paid way more than backup money - so he is gone. tillman - please. the reason i keep throwing williams out there is because a trade down with dallas is not only our best option, but the most realistic trade down scenario. i would want fasano, carpenter, and spears - and possibly williams to sweeten the pot (and picks, ofcourse) - because we are not gonna look at drafting a safety until the later rounds - where i would be happy with zbikowski - but safety isnt our most dire need, so who knows. i would also be happy with wilson, but again, not likely. williams would be nice to have if either bell needs time to recover from the injury, if he does at all, and allen might decide to suck it up again next year. so, in conclusion, williams does not suck and we might need him - and he might not cost us all that much. boomshakalaka.

Roy Williams is better than you people think. He had an ok year but the guy is pritty solid !

I wouldn't have such a strong opinion on him if I didn't have a couple of people who watch him every play of every game complaining how awful he is. he's a liability in coverage. and the big hitting that he made his name on is gone....he's not even a reliable tackler anymore.

he was never a reliable tackler, hence being near the top of the league every year in missed tackles - which i agree is not good. i did watch him last year murder a couple people, so the hitting is still there - unfortunately so is the horse collaring. the guy isnt my first choice, but i would take him in a trade down scenario.
