i hope this doesn't mean miller is going to lose more carries, i think he was able to get into a rhythm on sunday and now he's gonna start splitting carries again......... Shermanated

I agree. Was hoping it would be Miller the rest of the way, no splitting of carries.

I thought we placed him in IR?? WTF.

It was fun seeing Gilleslee have a chance.

This is the last I heard from roto

According to USA Today, Daniel Thomas (ankle) may not miss the entire rest of the season.
Thomas has a severe ankle sprain, likely of the "high" variety. An injury like that typically involves torn ligaments which can take at least a month to heal. There are only five weeks left in the season, so the Dolphins have to decide whether they can afford to keep Thomas off injured reserve. Regardless, he won't be playing anytime soon and can be dropped across the board.

Gillislee ran hard, looked quick and ran with purpose.
Miller finally got 20+ carries - against the #1 run D in the NFL
Thomas will be back in 2014 as he is still on his rookie deal. Thomas for his size should be a power back, short yardage monster. Key word Should be.

they need to give Miller and Gillislee many carries to see how many Rb's they need to draft or look at in FA.
Jonas Gray should be looked at for a short yardage RB

Daniel Thomas (ankle) was held out of Dolphins practice Tuesday.
USA Today reported last Tuesday that Thomas isn't necessarily out for the season, but it appears he can be safely ruled out for Week 14. Mike Gillislee and Marcus Thigpen are backing up Lamar Miller in Thomas' absence.

When asked if Daniel Thomas will return sometime this season, Philbin declined comment, said injury report comes out Wednesdays.

I understand all the hate for Daniel Thomas, but I am still on his band Wagon....lots of empty seats here!

:woot:

I'm with you. We could have really used Thomas on the jets 1 yard line. So far his Marcus Allen leap hasn't been stopped (2 for 2)

Clay's leap was weak.

Not only that but he has scored 4 of our 24 offensive TD's

The only good about this thread is the word Shermanated everything is else is fabrication and silliness.
