The early sentiment on the board was that the Dolphins ran into a bit of tuff luck with the way the schedule worked out. Our home schedule this year is absolutely brutal, and most of our weaker non-divisional opponents we play on the road. As a mediocre team looking to get any win possible, that looked to be a bad break for us. Now, it seems to be good fortune for us.

(Non-Divison)

Our remaining Home games
KC
Atl
Ten

Road Games

TB
NO
Cle
Oak
SD

-We don't have to go to arrowhead, maybe the toughest place to play in the NFL.

-Atlana is a solid team that would be tough to beat on the road. At home I like our chances.

-Tampa Bay looks like a tough opponent, but it's so close it seems like a sorta-home game. Hopefully some fans can get to TB and make it feel a little more cosy.

-NO/Cle/Oak- The first two are not horrible teams, but they are bottom 10. Oakland is not bad, but we always seem to play well @ Oakland, and it shouldn't be too cold.

-SD is a tough game, but again at least it won't be too cold.

Do we really? The last memory I have of the black hole is us getting blown out 27-0 in the 2001 playoffs. I remember we beat them a few years ago in Miami.

I am most concerned about Moss and the passing game Oak can put forth against our secondary.

2001 and 2002 were the last 2 games against oakland and miami won them both at home. are you maybe thinking of baltimore in the playoffs?

no im thinking of this

Its was technically the 2000 season, but it took place in january 2001. My argument was that the guy said we played well in oakland, im not referring to the games that were played in Miami.

I still think that the way the schedule is, making 4 coast-to-coast cross-country trips is going to take its toll down the stretch. That is too brutal having to make that trip 4 weeks in a row.

okay, but i think if you read the article, miami won 3 in a row in oakland and i believe they have beat them 5 of the last 6 times they played. oakland still has a winning record against miami, but miami has won lately.

I think we can finish anywhere between 9-7 and 11-5. 12-4 would surprise me, but it isn't out of the question either.

My concern with the Oakland game isn't where we play. If we can't stop Steve Smith in our house, then I'm terrified of what Randy Moss will do in their house.
