I'm sorry, but our defense is not as good as they seem. The D-line definitely keeps us in games, but the only way were going to be able to keep up points wise, is if we get some worthwhile turnovers. Playing Lehan and Goodman is not going to get us int's or fumbles for returns. Having Spragan tackle someone after a 25 yard gain is not a positive, its a negative. Our players that try to produce (Taylor, Crowder, DT's) are held back by the other players who are liabilities (secondary). If we don't get some big play production out of our D, we will keep losing. There is no reason why Bell and Allen shouldnt play at least half of the plays. Our secondary is as pathetic as our offense.

I was thinking the same thing....J.Allen was supposed to be seeing time. Unbelieveable. And Im a HUGE fan of Y.Bell, he has to start!

Im thinking something is wrong with Allen's development, which isnt good. We cant afford to have our 1st round to not making any impact

We have alot of cash tied up in Allen. I want his butt on the field playing!

The only thing wrong with his development is Saban's arrogance, or is it ignorance. He does not want to admit that our rookie is better than the starters he puts on the field, which is absurd. They would not play Allen on special team if he was a total flake, theyd just inactivate him.

1) He held out, which has stunted his first year growth. We see this all the time and in the end it costs the player more money. I can't believe agents still hold guys out for an extra million on a contract when it is probably much more valuable in the long run to get the guy in camp on time and avoid getting off to slow starts or worse yet being a bust.

2) Saban moved him to CB during the preseason. Bad move imo seeing as how he was already behind the timetable and this only made it harder to adjust.

I am still wondering just how bad he can be seeing as how I think Renaldo Hill is the most useless player on our team.
