Who will be starting QB in Miami nexted year.I think if we get T.O.The Dolphins will go with Gus Frerotte again. Then agian do you really think Gus will be our startar. So who you all think

I don't see why that's necessarily true. I think it could be frankly any one of the possible FA's and off-season acquisitions mentioned. If we get T.O., I can see Booker being traded for Patrick Ramsey. That's always a possibility though not my preference. Josh McCown could be our starting QB as could a few others.

Omar JAcobs Will be the back up so he can groom for a year and the Qb IMO will Be AAron Brooks With Gus Likely Leaving with no Linehan, Indeed to say who knows MAbey Linehan will lure him in St Louis to become a BAck up

I really think TO will not be here next year. He has had so many chances to fix his problems and refuses to do so, I dont think his benching will change anything. He is a great player......he is also a great A-Hole! The team leaders have spoken out against him, which is something that they didnt do with Ricky.

That being out of the way, I dont think that Gus is necessarily gone. I think that with the Mularkey hiring we will be less reliant on the QB and more reliant on the running game.(where we should be leaning IMO) Now this could bode well for Gus as he will have less of a chance to screw up, or it could mean that they are preparing to allow a young guy to get in there and take his lumps while allowing the running game to take pressure off of him alot like the Steelers did with Big Ben. My hope is that they will allow a young guy to take his lumps and lean heavily on RB and RW in both running the ball and on short screens and swing passes.

You mean like Kyle Boller? That takes a QB out of his element if you have him only do that. J.T. was adamant about not having R.W. back last year, but grew to accept it.

Trade for Brad Johnson and draft Jay Cutler. That will give Cutler a year to learn behind a tough, smart QB and give the Fins a great shot at a SB run. Seeing a guy flashing his ring around the lockerrom will probably spark as big a fire in the Fins as it did the Vikes. And you guys have a hell of a lot more talent than MinneSOOOta.

JT was adamant, but how many have come out against TO before he is even a real possibility.... As far as Boller, he is a Tedford QB I am never sold on Tedford QB's. You can win with a young guy it has been done a couple of times recently with Rookie QB's. The QB doesnt have to not make plays, he just has to know that if its not there he can throw it away and his team will get him another shot. A running game keeps the front 4 honest, and can bring the safeties up opening up the field for a young QB.

I dont think Jay Cutler will be here at #16.

Hey, noone said it would be easy. Maybe you have to trade up to make sure you get a guy with real talent and not just a guy who is the best of who's left. If the Fins want to fix their QB problems, they are most likely going to have to make some tough sacrifices.
Taylor?
Thomas?
Madison?
Williams?
McMichael? (ok, maybe not)
You never now what might have to happen to make the QB position a strength and not a non-weakness.

I believe we will draft 1 QB this draft what round i don't have any idea. But I also believe that Gus will be the starter for the Opening game for the Dolphins in 2006.

Draft Jay Cutler and have Gus groom him into our franchise quarterback.
