Thoughts on GM & New VP.

Last week I was reading an article about Hickey and Tannenbaum. Talking about how they worked for a year already. They work well together. Hickey is doig what he thinks is right.
Tannenbaum is over seeing. So my main Question is IF we decide to get a new coach next year, will Mike Tannenbaum keep hickey? It seems like they are the ones making the call on players and coaches. Only time will tell. What you think Finheaven?

If Hickey gets us some damn good talent and does his job as our GM, but we still have an average/mediocre season; then I see no reason to fire Hickey. Fire Joe, hire a new HC and the new HC can pick his staff.

If Hickey continues to do well, there is no reason to make a change there. Just like the players, we have to keep our talent inhouse. By the time that decision needs to be made, we will have another year to evaluate.

The problem is we're now stuck with Tannenbum. After all he couldn't score even a lateral position as GM anywhere in the league for 2 years. Does anyone really think he'll ever be offered another job even close to the level he suckered Ross into extending him.

I have the same thinking that if Hickey keeps getting talent he will stay and Philbin will be gone,if we don't make the playoffs. Hope we take that step. I'm ready for us to be back to dominating the east. Go Dolphins.

Problem is, if we continue to stink or be average we will have to overpay for FA and that will have a negative impact on the cap. This year could be huge.
