Thoughts on Kellen Mond as our Backup?

I think he’s the sleeper Qb in the draft..I think he can be an NFL starter

I like the kid. But I really love his TE Weidermyer (spelling?) a ton! He stood out to me in a game two years ago and ever since I’ve been searching for A&M games whenever I watch College Ball, which admittedly, is not very often. But I think he would work well if we traded down somewhere in the first two days and wind up with a fourth round pick. I don’t like the idea of trading up for a luxury selection (since we have Brissett) but I don’t think he lasts til the fifth

I have never been a fan of Mond. Eventhough he's improved at A&M, i can't get on board with trying to develop him. I just don't see "it" in his game.

I would take a chance on him if he were still there at 4.

The Patriots always would take a young QB early, while still having Brady, develop him, show him off in some games, then before his contract is up, trade him for more then what they paid.

Monday is a very interesting talent, that though may be picked way earlier then the 4th round, if he fell, he's a huge bargain that may be hard to pass up as our backup.
