Bush, Clay, Fasano, Bess, and Hartline are a reasonable set of starters. Bess as Z with Clay in the eagle seems like a matchup problem. If you handle that then Fasano and Hartline should be able to open space for Bush out of the backfield. Lineup in double tight with Clay and Fasano, and the defense is going to find it difficult to sniff out the play. I am not saying they will cause fear in opposing defenses, but it does seem like a productive mix of skills.

clay is going to give defenses fits, and so will bush and miller. we have some guys that create mismatches. two rbs with speed that will also spread out, and two te's that also can create problems with clay and the rookie. fasano can do both and is an underrated recieving te. not alot of speed but can do it all.
i may be the only one but i think we will be fine. imo we are good at rb and te. we dont know how man wrs we will keep but i think wallace will make the roster and hopefully step up for us.

If our 3 backs in Bush, Miller, and Thomas can stay healthy I think our back field will be ok. Wr will be a huge question mark until I see someone step up and prove they can be a #1. I'm not sure Ocho can still do it and we don't know what we can expect from everyone else. I also hope to see big things from Clay. I'm also hoping Egnew can at least make a couple of plays this year. We all no what Fasano is. He isn't as horrible or great as alot of fans think.

I think we will see a lot of double tight end and an equal amount of spread formations. I think we have enough skill players to move the ball and score.
What I am concerned about is the timing and tempo of the play calling. Having an ipad full of plays is great but calling the right formations and checking off to the right plays at the LOS is the key. Until I can watch the offense perform on the field, this will be a concern. Right now we are just hoping for the best. It might take several games to get everyone clicking and for the staff to understand the strengths and weaknesses. Hopefully the defense can keep us in the games until it all shakes out.

While I am not thrilled with the WR corps, I do think the other weapons can truly be effective. Just remembering the damage Roger Craig, Tom Rathman and Dwight Clark did in the WCO gets me excited for the potential for Bush, Miller, Clay and Egnew (granted, those SF teams had Rice and Taylor on the outside). I am really interested in seeing what Egnew can do.

Plus, even though there are some raw players involved, the sheer speed on the field with Gates, Bush and Miller really changes the look of the offense. Jesus, the teams that have been fielded the last few years were just so damn slow and plodding it is so nice to have some really dangerous speed to play with on every possesion.
